My DC love this! And so do I , what a fantastic way to learn history.

I was up at my parents house at the weekend and caught my Dad watching it - he is 85! Grin

molepom · 26/07/2011 18:01

I'll put my hand up and admit I have just asked the CbbC team if there are any plans for a CD. Although the site there isnt one at the moment, I'm hoping that they say there are plans.

Maybe if enough of us ask they may speed things along.

pyrowall · 26/07/2011 18:12

I'll admit to spending the last two days learning the kings and queens song from the red button! nearly got it!!

valiumredhead · 26/07/2011 18:15

I have learned more from HH than all my History lessons at school Grin LOVE it!

perplexedpirate · 26/07/2011 18:20

I have been off work today with flu. I feel bloody terrible, but it has all been worth it cos of back to back HH on cbbc. Smile

Caoimhe · 26/07/2011 18:20

We are off to the Prom on Saturday. I think I'm more excited than the kids!!!!!!

Doowrah · 26/07/2011 18:23

Sheer genius...love it but am starting to feel overloaded with the non-stop repeat programming...

Panzee · 26/07/2011 18:26

Mathew Baynton, mmmm. :o

molepom · 26/07/2011 18:28

There IS something about him isnt there Panzee?

Greatdomestic · 26/07/2011 18:29

this is one of the best things on kids tv. I love it.

SuburbanDream · 26/07/2011 18:30

I love this programme, especially the songs - Pachacuti, the Georges, the Party King (can't remember which - must pay more attention to the actual ?History bit!!) and the World War Two Girl Power songs are my faves! Poor DS1 has been feeling ill all day so we have been having a Horrible Histories fest as it's been on for hours on CBBC Smile

EuphemiaMcGonagall · 26/07/2011 18:30

Mathew has nice eyes, but a weird pointy chin and the body of a 9 year old.

It's Ben Willbond all the way for me. All. The. Way.

HH is the best thing on the telly. Grin

molepom · 26/07/2011 18:33

Party King is Charles the Second! My favorite one next to Dick Turpin.

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 26/07/2011 18:55

Loving the party king.

Should we mention MN? Just to put the fear of all things matriarchal up themWink

We have a load of HH CDs, came out in the Daily Torygraph about 4 years ago? Books are much much better.

iwanttoseethezoo · 26/07/2011 19:09

YES! love the Egyptian spelling song :)

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 26/07/2011 19:31

Its not audiobooks we're after ragged We want all the songs from the tv series:)

EcoLady · 26/07/2011 19:50

All say Raaah! Bou-dic-aaaahhh!!

We're word perfect on the songs in this house. Love them! Would DEFINITELY buy a CD.

joric · 26/07/2011 21:21

DD watched them back to back all afternoon! One episode after another all day instead of being out in the sun.... I have not been a great mum today!!!

PortBlacksandIsleOfDogs · 26/07/2011 21:25

We've been watching them all day here too - love the fact that the 'dandy highwayman' and 'beegees Aztecs' are clearly not aimed at our DCs Grin

the monarchs of England rollcall is fab too....

.....although there is a place forever in my heart for the four 'me i was as batty as a bonkers kangaroo' Georges

PortBlacksandIsleOfDogs · 26/07/2011 21:29

Agree re Ben Willbond....

muchthesame · 26/07/2011 21:34

Empusa - no kids in this house either but I had the pleasure of introducing my flatmate to Horrible Histories today (teachers here!)

It's going to be the highlight of the holidays methinks

NorfolkBroad · 26/07/2011 22:29

Yes, yes yes! They must! It is genius!

MrsChemist · 26/07/2011 22:32

I do think the Highwayman song is my favourite. It's toppled the four Georges from the top spot.

Probably because Matthew Baynton looks hot as Dick Turpin/Adam Ant

Empusa · 26/07/2011 22:33

Mrs Chemist I totally agree!
