AIBU to ask the doc to drug my 4 yr old child up?

because I am literally going to have a heart attack if I have to listen to um uh tuh tuh ugh urg ah ah umt umt any longer.

He constantly appears to be in distress and aggitation.

He screams 'NO FUCK OFF' at people saying hello.

Even the way he breaths makes me want to go hide in a cupboard right now.

Do they drug children up in this country? I think any type of relaxation drug would be perfect.

AIBU to try getting him on meds to calm him the * down, (before I lose my mind)???

Have you considered parenting classes. Something needs to change, but I doubt drugs are the answer. But in asnwer to your question, yes, when there is a proven medical need children can be given drugs i.e. ADHD meds, ADs etc.

Ern no, we dont drug kids in this country but most 4 years olds dont shout at people to fuck off - I hope you are dealing with that appropriately.

Why is he like this, and what help are you getting with him? You sound at the end of your tether, how are you coping with him?

you only have to say something once, have them repeat it, you say dont say taht and suddenly its all they want to say.

Drugging up a four year old so he doesnt annoy you as much....against wanting help to find out whats (if anything) wrong with him and get him the help he needs....

I'm waiting to see if the 4 yo fucker-offer is a SN child who has tested his mum's patience beyond measure or a NT child who needs a smack. :o

He's 4 years old. I suggest that you start looking into the fact he may have problems that need addressing.
If my 4 year old told people to fuck off she would have got a clip around the earhole (and thats not a joke) but she's NT.

He has 'probable autism' (clinical report) major speach delay.
He shouts fuck off reguarily to his teachers, chucks chairs, etc.
He screamed some colourful language at his entire preschool the other day, when they all said hello at him arriving.
He has a one on one SENCO who looks after him at preschool but even she is upset with how he is.

I'm taking part in my 4th (in two years) childcare/parenting course right now at the childrens centre.
He's going to a special needs school in september so they can manage him better.
We have a social worker who's doing surprise visits as she's concerned about why he's so angry.

My son has always had my undivided attention, when he was younger he was one of those babies that didn't even cry for more than 2 minutes and I was there, I breastfed him for just over 2 years, always putting him first in everything.
But in the last two years his behaviour has become diabolical.
I have a 1 and half year old who sometimes cries because he gets frightened of his brother's outbursts. Infact he has a nice bruise on his head right now from getting knocked flying over by DS1 this morning which I'll have great fun trying to explain to the social worker if she comes now, because I'm quite sure she already suspects I beat them in private.

Anyway my 4 yr old is obsessed with repeatedly pressing (the same) buttons on his toys, pulling on door handles repeatedly, opening and closing cupboards for agggggeeess.
I have a great tollorance to it usually, but I'm at the end of my tether right now.

If any drug can make him more calm, then why not?

I'm completely serious.
