Well damnation, I've missed all the quiching as I have been out at work keeping the NHS on its feet singlehandedly.
Anyway...
Ladies, I feel we are all in need of some rest and recuperation, after the hardships of grape pressing and exudate scraping, so, using money I inherited after bumping off the Duke what little savings I have, and after selling some of my best macramé, I have purchased us all tickets for the best cabins on a transatlantic voyage. I can't remember the name of the ship, but it's brand new, straight out of White Star's dockyard.
We needs must be in Southampton for embarkation in a few days. I performed a small service for the Captain a few years ago (on the right, as I knew him), when he was no'but an Able Seaman (most able he was), and he will have us dine at his table each evening, and will ensure that we are not bothered by any scallywags from steerage (unless we wish to be).
