I am off the a herb gathering and will be spending some time in the distillaryherb drying shed. We will be in need of wolfsbane, monkshood, ladies bedstraw and fangwort. I will persuade the gardener to accompany me. Do your best to assuage cook.< at least there will be more for us>

minimammoth · 13/07/2011 16:57

Oh and garlic.

HoneyNorwegianRidgebackdragon · 13/07/2011 18:01

Hully, quit with the bloodletting, I know you've been looking through the mystic portal at wolvesnet again, and I KNOW they suggest invalid led weaning

DrPolidori · 13/07/2011 19:03

Stirring news from Castle Murdochia! Queen Wada-Brooka has been seized by the Great Lords Of Camilclegg charged with using small children to spy upon the pillow talk of great lords. And dastardly deeds committed against the peasantry...

Our land will yet be free of these bloodsucking monsters!

Jins · 13/07/2011 19:09

How the thundering buggery am I meant to find you all without IPOAT in the title?

It's taken me days.....

Hullygully · 13/07/2011 19:15

Madame Jins! At last! Had you not happened upon us today, I was going to pm you by carrier pigeon tomorrow. Tis all part of the challenge, dear Lady, you must keep your wits about you.

Tomato juice?

I know madame Jins. Too me bollocksing ages then i find they are all away to Transylvania to play with the Count and his furry henchmen.

And whatever you do, accept nothing from Mistress Hully. I believe she is one of <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.wallcoo.net/animal/white_baby_dogs_2_1920x1200/images/lovely_white_puppy_dog_83170.jpg&imgrefurl=www.wallcoo.net/animal/white_baby_dogs_2_1920x1200/html/wallpaper8.html&h=525&w=700&sz=62&tbnid=NVhu0ZYtGW7VyM:&tbnh=105&tbnw=140&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dfurry%2Bpuppies%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=furry+puppies&hl=en-gb&usg=__DVcE_UOC2uJm4OpquDKl-zKuTM8=&sa=X&ei=lOEdTsCUKs2ChQeC8JXlBw&ved=0CCQQ9QEwBA" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">them

Madame Jins, you sneaked a last post on to the last thread, did you not see the Dracul-Palanquin connection?

Good evening Ladies. Oh, may I help myself to a restoring tisane? My knees are fair worn out with all the kneeling and praying. The curate rests further in my chamber I've locked the door-.

Altho, Dr dear, your delivery of the news from the castle did make me wonder, much more you than her.

sybilvimes · 13/07/2011 21:20

I'm home!

The roads were dreadful but the Colonel's brothers were very accommodating. Sadly they were exhausted had to leave at the London road .

I shall quickly refresh myself and then help out in the kitchen garden, I noticed the under-gardener looking lonely busy on my way in

minimammoth · 13/07/2011 21:43

Dearest Sybil, you must be exhausted from the journey

sybilvimes · 14/07/2011 08:23

Thank you Mistress Mini, a cordial would be delightful.

I am sad happy to say that I will not be needing the garlice poultice. Unfortunately I was never anywhere near the Colonel's blood sausage which seems to have induced such a state of lethargy in the other gels. .

I fear the dog basket may be very useful. When I left Mistress Hully seemed to have adopted a large but beautiful hound of some description. Although I never actually saw them together the beast was often wondering in and out of her room in the evenings. Perhaps I can help with the tatting?

LadyMariahStubbornlyDudgeonly · 14/07/2011 08:35

I say!

What ho, girls! This is a rum old place and no mistake! Still, all the other gels from Dame Constance's School for Young Ladies with Pluck said they had a jolly old time here, what with midnight walks and stargazing and some jolly handsome local fellows. I wanted to go to Paris but Mama insisted I'd learn more useful skills here, so here I am.

I suppose I should report to the Lady of the House. I wonder where the old bean is?

minimammoth · 14/07/2011 09:16

Welcome Lady Mariah. Alas most of our gels are on an outreach course building their characters in Transylavia. The Halls are little echoey at the moment. You might like to join Miss Fiderer in tatting or join me on a wild flower foray. the undergardener might be willing to guide us.

LadyMariahStubbornlyDudgeonly · 14/07/2011 09:45

I'm terribly sorry ma'am, there must have been some mistake, because I am on that same outreach course you mention, in sunny Transylvania.

Perhaps I could get someone to help you back home, maybe the undergardner chappy you mentioned? I haven't got my Helping Confused Older Persons badge yet, and Dame Constance would so pleased if I got it. May I help you? That would be simply ripping!

Fiderer · 14/07/2011 10:51

My dog's basket is more of a pig's ear.
Joins Mme Mini in the distillery. Drags Miss Sybil in.
I do feel we may need more gin poultices than we thought.
Also stakes.
Silver bullets.

Hullygully · 14/07/2011 11:14

Ah Lady Mariah! How lovely to meet you, you look so young and fresh, one might almost say succulent. Are you, mayhap, a virgin?

OP posts:
LadyMariahStubbornlyDudgeonly · 14/07/2011 11:29

Yes ma'am, all intact and tickety-boo here. Though I do enjoy a good hack. And there was that time with Felicity Wallops-Lightly in the common room, but I don't think that counts. And anyway, all the other gels were doing it too.
