The Non-Feminist Point of View

JamesHuff · 29/06/2011 15:00

I have noticed over the last while that the Feminist section has grown over the last bit.

This does not surprise me, but I feel compelled to ask why this site has begun to ascribe to a sociopolitical ideology when it was originally a resource for parents.

I think that as a result of this discrepancy, non-feminist points of view should have their own section as well. I hope people who disagree with inequalities feminism has created within our legislation will be compelled to express themselves more often.

I don't see it as unreasonable. Since there will be disagreements on various topics, I just figure a non-feminist based section would be in order. This way parents have a choice that reflects both sides of the coin.

HowlingBitch · 29/06/2011 19:02

There once was a man called mdowdall
Who never had sex at all
Although he tries his best
He's never even touched a breast
'Cause he has a tiny little dick and one ball.

Crosshair · 29/06/2011 19:02

People all over the world join hands, Lets start a love train!

floosiemcwoosie · 29/06/2011 19:04

I think its not so much the small cock that is so worrying for them. Its only having oneself to practice on that rile's them.

SuePurblybilt · 29/06/2011 19:10

Have you ever really,
really, really ever loved, a woman?

MoreBeta · 29/06/2011 19:11

GetOrf/Pag - Shania is indeed a much misunderstood and underated moral philosopher, but after some reflection, I feel that the little known Dolly Parton song 'He Rode All The Way to Texas' perhaps captures the current zeitgeist of the thread better.

wrongdecade · 29/06/2011 19:11

I think non- feminist is basically sexist so no,

lubbermummy · 29/06/2011 19:11

jugglingwiththreeshoes · 29/06/2011 19:18

Oohh, MDowdall, rhyming shoes with poos, very good ! Go to the top of the class !

Sassybeast · 29/06/2011 19:18

More from Shania - the goddess - 'Honey I'm home'

The car won't start-it's falling apart
I was late for work and the boss got smart
My pantyline shows-got a run in my hose
My hair went flat-man, I hate that
Just when I thought things couldn't get worse
I realized I forgot my purse
With all this stress-I must confess
This could be worse than PMS

This job ain't worth the pay
Can't wait 'til the end of the day
Honey, I'm on my way
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Honey, I'm home and I had a hard day
Pour me a cold one and oh, by the way
Rub my feet, gimme something to eat
Fix me up my favorite treat
Honey, I'm back, my head's killing me
I need to relax and watch TV
Get off the phone-give the dog a bone
Hey! Hey! Honey, I'm home!

I broke a nail opening the mail
I cursed out loud 'cause it hurt like hell
This job's a pain-it's so mundane
It sure don't stimulate my brain

This job ain't worth the pay
Can't wait 'til the end of the day
Honey, I'm on my way
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Honey, I'm home and I had a hard day
Pour me a cold one and oh, by the way
Rub my feet, gimme something to eat
Fix me up my favorite treat
Honey, I'm back, my head's killing me
I need to relax and watch TV
Get off the phone-give the dog a bone
Hey! Hey! Honey, I'm home!

Oh, rub my neck will you

Honey, I'm home and I had a hard day
Pour me a cold one and oh, by the way
Rub my feet, gimme something to eat
Fix me up my favorite treat
Honey, I'm back, my head's killing me
I need to relax and watch TV
Get off the phone-give the dog a bone
Hey! Hey! Honey, I'm home!

Grin at morebeta.

I have to listen to country music alert to it's gently beating heartbeat of equality. Except for 'stand by your man' possibly

Miffster · 29/06/2011 19:58

I could write a sonnet
About the bee in Jamez' bonnet
But it's a bit single issue
So hey, have a tissue.
Whilez I weepz salty tearz
For the problemz of nonfeminist menz.

Tchootnika · 29/06/2011 20:12

Zo Jamez haz left?
Then I'm feeling bereft.
Waz pizzing myzelf.
He'z a comic by stealf.
Clever surely he aint,
But for laughz he'z a zaint.

Ormirian · 29/06/2011 20:39

"Now, once feminism becomes institutionalized it"

Now there's a juxtaposition of terms I never thought to read.....only in the Huff Alternative Universe.

JamesHuff3 · 29/06/2011 21:00

Must be a big universe. There are more and more people who actually think that way.

I am just basking in the knowledge that feminism has won and everything is just hunkydory! Who knew? Shock
