Jeremy Clarkson - the biggest tosser on the planet. His abhorrent views on breastfeeding and giving birth. prove yet again that he really is a TWAT!

hairfullofsnakes · 25/06/2011 17:45

Jeremy 'prick' Clarkson has written a piece in his Saturday column in the sun newspaper about breastfeeding and says amongst other things that 'you say it's the most natural thing in the world, but so is taking a dump' and urges women who bf not to do so when 'men are looking'. He also urges women who bf not to be smug as 'all she has done is have a baby and that's what women are designed to do' and 'a woman giving birth is no cleverer than a man standing up to take a leak'

I could go on but now I am wondering why I am even bothering to be bothered about this scumbag's stupid words. I suppose I just want to say he is a total CUNT and we should all kick him in his (small) balls just for fun. Who is with me?!

yes and women write to ian huntley.even he has a fan club
no accounting for why some women like some men

DogsBestFriend · 25/06/2011 20:58

"I've been at the same table as him at a birthday party and he's even more vapid and attention seeking in RL

Bugger. I'm disappointed. He makes me laugh (petrol-head and TG fan here) and he'd be on my list of "people I'd like to sit next to at dinner".

Bugger!

Chen23 · 25/06/2011 20:58

"When you spend too much time on this site, you realize that most women have no sense of humour whatsoever."

Oh, how 'controversial' of you.

I'm soooo incensed

happy now?

god you really work hard at being inflammatory.too obvious

Chen23 · 25/06/2011 21:00

"And yet he's still so popular...."

and so is piers morgan

not quite sure what that proves tbh.

supercal · 25/06/2011 21:00

Meh.

So he said something norty and boys-will-be-boys-ish to get a response. That's his persona.

Doesn't bother me.

I'm far more bothered at the idea of someone buying The Sun, tbh.

ShellyBoobs · 25/06/2011 21:02

Clarkson says some shocking things, but that's the whole point; he's being shocking on purpose. He seems to like to state the very obvious to the point of 'appearing' to be stupid, but he's from that. Maybe better to think of him being a character rather than a serious journalist?

A colleague of mine lives near his/their property on the Isle of Man and hence meets him occasionally. She assures me he's one of the nicest, kindest people she's met and his selfless work with HFH, as mentioned above, is also testament to that.

Besides, anyone who's punched Piers Morgan should be allowed the odd indiscretion, IMO.

hairfullofsnakes · 25/06/2011 21:02

Dogsbestfriend - the way jezza puts things is abhorrent - comparing bf to taking a shit for example

He is a CUNT - and I hardly ever use that word!

scottishmummy · 25/06/2011 21:02

no dont sweat it no one on mn reads sun or dm.they usually find it and some how read and regurgitate without drawing breath

DogsBestFriend · 25/06/2011 21:02

mdowdall I note that you're not getting the outraged reaction you're clearly aiming for. You must be becoming a little frustrated.

(NB, I chose not to breastfeed so have no personal axe to grind with you. I just think you're trying far too hard... and it ain't working, sunshine).
.

supercal · 25/06/2011 21:05

Grin at scottishmummy

hairfullofsnakes · 25/06/2011 21:05

Supercal - you are more bothered by someone buying the sun?!

God - the amount of snobby arses on here over a paper! Lol

OP posts:
tralalala · 25/06/2011 21:06

pathetic.
used to like Top Gear just reeks of desperation now.

realhousewifeofdevoncounty · 25/06/2011 21:06

CUNT

VanillaRooibos · 25/06/2011 21:06

I think the article passes for his type of 'humour'. I can't stand the man - he's just so opinionated. Men seem to like him and find him funny - me I just don't get it

DogsBestFriend · 25/06/2011 21:07

hair, each to their own. :) I didn't find the comment abhorrent - I did find that sm's remark, which almost compared JC to Huntley made me feel distinctly uncomfortable though.

"Besides, anyone who's punched Piers Morgan should be allowed the odd indiscretion, IMO." - oh Shelley, so true, so true!

I've met the man twice, though only for a few minutes on each occasion. I found him charming, funny and self-depreciating.

scottishmummy · 25/06/2011 21:08

some of you are disproportionately annoyed
hes wound you up good and proper.like he intended to
and indignant outpourings about his cuntiness are a bit brow beating

Mare11bp · 25/06/2011 21:09

I am pregnant and have a DS, hence I am not a bloke, but I thought the piece was hilarious and written in such a witty way. Didn't agree with it all but the bloke is a genius!

hairfullofsnakes · 25/06/2011 21:10

Lol at scottishmummy's observation! I occaisionally buy the sun and even (shock horror!) the daily mail! I also read the daily telegraph, the times etc sometimes - so what?! The snotty attitudes to some papers on here makes me laugh

Dogs - yes, I reckon mdwall or whatever it's called is indeed very upset at not provoking a reaction - thankfully we have all seen it for what it is and have chosen to ignore it and it's thick ramblings!

OP posts:
hairfullofsnakes · 25/06/2011 21:13

Nah scottishmummy - he has not wound me up that much - I just like to call him a CUNT! Lol

OP posts:
lovemyskinnyjeans · 25/06/2011 21:13

He doesn't compare bf to taking a shit, he just says yes, they're both natural, doesn't necessarily mean everyone wants to see it. I agree with him on that.

scottishmummy · 25/06/2011 21:13

indeed buy any paper you want.but dont fanny about linking dm etc and then claiming to never read it etc.mn and dm are inextricably linked.everyday someone who doesn't read dm (honest guv) links it here on mn.and gets plenty i dont read it but responses

and back in the day, fair few threatened to leave about the dm and mn association.they never did.funny that

dolldaggabuzzbuzz · 25/06/2011 21:14

I hate him cos he's not a real hamster is he?

supercal · 25/06/2011 21:16

yep, I'm a snobby arse when it comes to reading The Sun

I would never buy a paper with a page 3

that's MY line

also, i used to have to read it for my job (yes, really Grin) and it is dire

I do read the DM online for celeb gossip though, have only ever paid for it once and that was when there was a feature on a good friend of mine
