If my Sn kids (any of them, all 4 have or are supected of having, one thing or another from severe ASD to mild ADD and dyspraxia) manage to have a cared for family or a job I will be one proud mummy. Heck, in RL it's known that I have AS, am almost at the end of a part time MA, a carer, have held down some pretty good jobs in the charity sector and plan to again. DS1 has AS, is a talented jewelerry designer who plans to make a career from it and I have no doubt that he will; he might need a TA but he is also Chair of School Council and Vice captain of His House and it wasn;t any positive discrimination program that got him there either.
