and really an argument for enforced sterilization, eugenics or just bloody putting them down.

There is no hope for this country when feral vile "people" like this are allowed to breed.

One bloke no job two kids been sleeping with a girl her sister and her best friend, and good old tax payer picks up the tab.

Some people should not be allowed to breed.

I know its my own fault for watching it Grin

Trillian - What do you care that he was shagging his GF, her sister and her best mate? They all like to the poor girl in question, she knew half of it, but to sit there and have her life torn apart infront of a baying nation is horrid.

They are sold the dream, 'come to Manchester, we'll put you in a nice hotel free of charge, we'll talk you through what we want you to say, do, how to act and then, when we have had the very best from you, we'll try to fix you with our award winning after care team'

Or something to that effect. FFS. These people watch the show every day, most of them say so but when it comes to them, it's different isn't it?

It's their lives that they want to fix........ and I have little doubt that that's what they are told.

Come on the show, we'll help you.

Oh, and let's not forget, JK and his heart wrenching trips to lap land with terminally ill children, that discounts all else because actually, he's a stand up kinda guy who cares.

It's a double edged sword, surely?

DISCLAIMER - I am NOT knocking his work with charity/ill children etc, I just think that the production team use it to douse the flames that the show creates.

Trillian
It is not bullying but you know that you will be mistaken for another poster, and it is not strange that people do not understand why you are so insistent on keeping that name.

You know you're the same poster op, I've seen your sock puppetry before. Well MN can confirm I'm sure Grin

uselesscamhs · 08/06/2011 21:26

Trillian. Do you remember starting a thread in AIBU on 6 March 2011 asking
if you should change your name?

Trillian Sun 06-Mar-11 15:36:44
No I like it here, I know I can be a bit abrasive at times though

I would like to keep my name but if it is going to cause problems for the other poster I feel bad

Mamaz0n · 08/06/2011 21:26

So you know, I know a very well respected MNer in RL. I have spoken to her at length about her life a few years back.

If she was posting a few years ago i reckon you would have viewed her as a JK candidate. You would have called for her enforced sterilisation.

I reckon you would now beg to lick her boots. Time and age has meant she has turned her life around in such a way that most people simply wouldn't believe she was that girl from a few years ago.

It is because of people like this Mner that prove each and every day that life changes. That people shouldn't be written off.

I could give you literally hundreds of other examples, but i am hoping that he MNer i am thinking of comes on and shocks you by giving her story. I think that for you to be able to relate the story to someone you "know" Is more powerful.

BrianAndHisBalls · 08/06/2011 21:27

Mamazon I just spit tea at DP Grin

BrianAndHisBalls · 08/06/2011 21:27

spat even. At your 'duck' comment.

animula · 08/06/2011 21:28

Actually, i don't think it's the hallmark of modern democracies. I think it's a feature.

It's an important one to hold onto , though.

You know, imagine if one of your children grows up, has a bad, bad relationship, or a major traumatic life-event, and deals with it badly: alcohol, drugs, bad relationships, etc. And we lived in the dystopian society you have proposed. She'd end up being forcibly sterilised herself. Prevented from procreating.

You'd not have stopped loving her. You'd still know the child she'd been, the person you hoped she might still be, and is sometimes, beyond that.

People get to these bad places. It's sad. It's not worth wishing in a very unpleasant world for, with cruelty and lack of empathy enshrined in laws.

Mouseface · 08/06/2011 21:28

'lied', sorry, tired typing.

Peachy · 08/06/2011 21:28

So LeQ what you are saying is you want to have sex with a JK appearing unattractive 9to you) man?

As for wanting your Dh to do the same er.......

BrianAndHisBalls · 08/06/2011 21:29

Mousie I'm going to have to disagree with you again, twice in one night:

The thing is.... havent most of us at some point or another had a story that wouldnt be out of place on the Jeremy Kyle show?

Mouseface · 08/06/2011 21:48

Coco - yes, I have. But I wouldn't think twice about going on a tv show with it. Lots of people on here have a story or five to tell. Stories of abuse, losing children, cheating spouses........

False promises mean nothing when you are bearing your soul to someone who claims to care.
