My car, this time I bought what I wanted for me, brand new
My Tempur bed, sleep has never been so good
My Iphone, so much better than my old Blackberry, now all the family have one
My Ipad shared by the family and in constant use
My Sky+ box in the bedroom - my own private space
These are all very materialistic but there is also my rescue cat

wildstrawberryplace · 30/05/2011 22:25

Miele washer, dryer, dishwasher and hoover

Mountain buggy

Vibram five fingers running shoes/Nike frees

my breadmaker

The Wire box set

HD TV

My fabric stash and patterns, and sewing machine.

RedbinD · 30/05/2011 22:32

The first cider tonight.

Pekkala · 30/05/2011 22:50

Superking bed, with goosedown duvet and mad but happy rescue cat on top.
Ipod touch - such a clever thing.
Netbook & mobile internet dongle - goes everywhere with me.
Sky+ so I can watch series, I never used to bother trying as I could guarantee I would miss the last episodes.

Our buggy - it was the right purchase for us and our circumstances, we love it (it's a Quinny Zapp!)

£20 of Brio from eBay. Picked up from a house 2mins away from mine and DD loves it. It was the biggest box I'd seen and we've got loads left over in the attic to give DD for her birthday Blush

Made-to-measure shed. Fits perfectly in our gap next to the gate and is the biggest size we could have - good job as it's full to bursting! We've painted it so it looks a bit like a beach hut. Unfortunately there's no way we can take it with us when we move and I'll be so sad to leave it behind.

startail · 31/05/2011 00:08

Mountain Buggy. We were country kids stuck in a dreary Midlands town when DD1 came along. The mountain buggy allowed escapes along the canal and off across the fields.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 31/05/2011 08:32

The microwave I bought for 25 euros yesterday following the fatal blowing up of our previous one.
A tangleteezer. Mornings are much more pleasurable for both DD and me.
I want to say the iPad. We ordered it in April and I collected it on Saturday. I don't really like it though TBH. It does have a lovely green cover which is the best I can say about it.
The slowcooker - no more needs to be said.
The washing machine, after three years of using a communal one, I still get a tiny frisson of excitement when I put ours on.

PinotGrigiosKittens · 31/05/2011 13:58

Tweezerman tweezers - worth the extra £
GHD's
Solid wood furniture so when the DCs toys bash into it, I don't now get the horrid chipboard winking through
Having my late Nannas engagement ring fixed and one of the diamonds replaced. I asked them to leave all the dents, just make the settings strong again - I love it so. I wear it next to my wedding rings.

mousymouse · 31/05/2011 14:00
  • ergo baby carrier
  • weleda skin food
  • trunki
olderandwider · 31/05/2011 14:18

£4.95 metal tongs specially designed for wrestling spaghetti/long pasta into bowls without dropping any pieces. Awesome Grin

wangle99 · 31/05/2011 16:30

Been really thinking about this;

  • all my Apple things - macbook, ipad etc
  • my labrador
  • anything that helps me do things easier (have joint problems)
  • my college course enabling me to change career
lettinggo · 31/05/2011 17:35

My sewing machine - does loads of lovely stitches
my cath kidston shopping bag that holds 2 sets of open copybooks
my clothes horse from ikea that hangs from the ceiling

glastocat · 31/05/2011 17:48

Another iPad fan here. I got mine last week and have barely put it down since. The iPad 2 has a camera too.

Dannythedragon · 31/05/2011 18:18

Car seat base for infant seat. Just got my car back from workshop and it was a nightmare fiddling with the seatbelt. Was only 2 days but it felt like forever as 2 other DC in different schools so quite a lot of getting in and out of car.

pixipie151 · 31/05/2011 21:45

Electric hand mixer
tumble dryer
Somerset bed from Laura Ashley (after having crappy £100 pine bed for a staggering 14 years when it was meant to be a stop gap).
A fortune getting the prison exercise yard of a garden transformed by a bit of grass and a patio (but worth every penny and wish had done it year ago when I moved in).

Next on my list is a teasmade - bliss!

RachelHRD · 31/05/2011 23:26

Oooh where do I start...??

My shiny black Dodge Journey - a pleasure to drive :)
Iphone and Dell notepad which make Mumsnet far too easy to peruse....
GHD's - pre-GHD hair was a big horrible fuzz ball :(
Condenser tumble dryer and dishwasher - I love you both :)
Joovy Caboose double buggy - so handy with an older child who doesn't always want to walk
My gorgeous Lin and Leo changing bag which gets lots of admiring comments and will be used as a weekend bag when we finally wave the nappies goodby Grin

PinotGrigiosKittens · 01/06/2011 13:47

Ooh that Lin and Leo bag is luffly :)

thelittlefriend · 01/06/2011 14:22

RachelHRD I'm so jealous of your Lin & Leo bag. I wanted one when I was pregnant but in the end couldn't justify the money. Give it a kiss from me Wink

For my baby I love my aqua pod for the bath

For me & love all Liz Earle Naturally Active face care products. They have made such a difference to my skin!
