Hand blender - About £7 from tesco (much more convenient than dirtying up the big blender when all I want to do is make a banana smoothie or whizz some soup up!)

Car - £350 Opened my world!

Slow cooker - £10 Whats not to love about a slow cooker!

LordOfTheFlies · 26/05/2011 23:31

Superkingsize bed.
Proper storage for the living room.
Ceramic hob for easy cleaning

CandyS · 26/05/2011 23:35

I'm going to sound like an old lady; my snuggie/slanket/blanket with sleeves.
In warm weather DH kicks the duvet off the bed & sleeps uncovered, I cannot, so wearing it to bed every night means DH is spared a nag in the morning!

RainbowShite · 26/05/2011 23:44

My HTC desire
My dermalogica. I frequently get compliments about my complexion
My Dab radio. I love 6music.

MedusaIsHavingABadHairDay · 26/05/2011 23:45

My expensive Maine Coon cat who is slobbed across me as I type. He loves me unconditionally:)

My macbook and iphone... I'll never go back to Windows!

My GHDs which have tamed my hideous hair!

My Kindle... surgically attached to me !

Bast · 27/05/2011 00:36

Boobs!

ResurrectionByChocolate · 27/05/2011 00:41

Adding a Dash fleece coat and a Regatta Cape Horn jacket, both softest and warmest ever. Cape Horns aren't made any more, and their quilted linings have been replaced with mesh which even LOOKS cold and harsh.

chocolatehobnobs · 27/05/2011 02:23

I love my daylight alarm clock. Comes on gradually so so you don't have to get up in the dark on winter mornings. Best 100 quid spent.
Also Kindle . Lakeland microwave egg poacher.

MCos · 27/05/2011 04:03

The kids trampoline. The only thing that gets them playing out of doors for hours.

LtEveDallas · 27/05/2011 05:58

MuttDog - she has bought the whole family so much pleasure, even if she does treat DD like her puppy!

iPhone - for MNing on the move

TP Slide/Climbing frame thingy. £30 off eBay and used constantly. Would even be worth the £300+ that it should have cost.

Caravan on the coast - winced at the price but has proved it's worth time and time again.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 27/05/2011 06:11

The ££££ I spent on ovulation kits due to PCOS. It took months to ovulate but I got DD first time!
My driving lessons 4 years ago. Passing my test has changed my life.
My botox that has all but cured my migraines.

thereistheball · 27/05/2011 06:25

Mothermointaingoat - TuneInRadio for me too, for exactly the same reason.

Also, our camping gear and my (v expensive but worth it) Eve Lom cleanser - I've tried cheaper substitutes but nothing comes close.

IvyAndGold · 27/05/2011 06:32

a pair of hair straighteners that i bought for about £8 from argos when i was 15. i'm 22 now, working perfectly. they've outlasted all of my friend's ghd's, and after using theirs, they're almost as good.

cantpooinpeace · 27/05/2011 07:34

Mawbroon - what's proper storage for living room?

(think I need some of that) Envy

Kindle

Can I ask whats so fab about the ipad???? Never seen one and not sure what they do!

EarthMotherImNot · 27/05/2011 07:42

A motorised cradle/crib. I bought it a few years ago when we had a particularly difficult to settle baby, I was willing to try/pay anything for some sleep.

It has proved to be a godsendSmile It glides back and forward for up to 45 minutes and is said "to simulate a pregnant lady walking" Hmm dunno about that but it worksSmile

cantpooinpeace · 27/05/2011 07:49

Its like a large IPhone, without the phone or camera. For me it's just about having internet use in any room on an easy to hold/use device.

I could spend the whole day on mine, comparing prices, MNing, Ebaying, FBing, reading, apping, puzzling etc. It also stopped me and hubster sitting in opposite rooms all evening as our desktop is in back room. Now he can watch footy whilst I potter on the IPad and then watch the odd thing we both wanna watch together.

Oh and great for catching up on programmer eg can watch BBC I player in bed on it :o

Piffpaffpoff · 27/05/2011 08:16

Oh, and my Babyliss Big Hair. Amazing, my limp frizzy hair is transformed and I look like I spent ages blowdrying it when in reality I just stood twirling it for 2 or 3 mins. Best thing ever.
