iembarrassedmyself - where do you get your bathoils from (if you don't mind me asking)?

Anythingwithagiraffeonit · 26/05/2011 22:27

Kindle.

Mulberry bag for my mums birthday. (saved up on the side for three months but the look on her face was amazing!) :)

freshprincess · 26/05/2011 22:29

My iphone - I'm the least gadgety person in the world but I love it so much. I carry it round with me all the time.

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 26/05/2011 22:31

What is so amazing about i-phones/i-pads? Is this something I need to re-think? My current mobile phone has been lying on my desk, uncharged and unused for at least six months. Am I missing a gene or something?

Thought of a few more -
My paper slicing guillotene thingie - it makes me give a little shiver of happiness whenever I use it!
Decent cake tins.

sausagerolemodel · 26/05/2011 22:34

This bag of Swizzels Matlow Chew Chew (impulse purchased at the Toys R Us checkout for 90p) that I am eating my way through.

LordOfTheFlies · 26/05/2011 22:34

My Bosch 8kg washing machine (at the time it was the biggest they did,now they do a 10kg) I had its own room built when we had our kitchen extension

My Nissan- getting scratched and scabby now but its roomy, comfy, great to drive and park.

A portrait in pencil of DS and DD at ages 2 & 4.Little angels, aahh

SpareRoomSleeper · 26/05/2011 22:36

Oh, and I forgot to add mine:

My toshiba satellite laptop in light pink and proud, love it love it love it!

Bobbi brown shimmer bricks in all the colours they have it in, together with an extra large blusher/dusting brush and used very sparingly on top of my make up, makes me feel like a million dollars every time.

Dishwasher and my american fridge freezer with an ice dispenser.

Oil burners from B&M for 99p each lit with value tealights and rather expensive oils make my home smell gorgeous all day long and are worth every penny.

LDNmummy · 26/05/2011 22:36

My Dell laptop which has gotten me through almost four years of education and which will -hopefully- get me through this last summer of coursework.

My Reiss coat which has also lasted me roughly four years and with a bit of mend will most likely last another two winters. No amount of snow has caused me to freeze in that coat and it looks so smart, worth every penny.

My Tripp suitcase which has moved home with me about 15 times and still going strong.

Will definitely be buying these brands again and again. Have already bought one new Tripp suitcase.

cantpooinpeace · 26/05/2011 22:37

Adding slow cooker to my list too :)

My Kindle. I use it every day and go to my happy place whenever I switch it on. Just wish I'd had it when my DS was cluster feeding in his early weeks Smile

ResurrectionByChocolate · 26/05/2011 22:40

Radios in every room
SatNav (cheapo from Woolies - works fine)
Laptops
Commtiva tablet phone (cheapo, works fine for my purposes)
LG KS360 mobile phone for texting
Ford Ka
Samsung microwave oven (manual, had for years)
Infrared oven
Slow cooker (Lakeland, insulated so needs no power beyond first cooking ingredients)
Ferrets (fab fun, need lots of time tho)
Rats
Cats (all free, don't begrudge any expenses on them they give so much love and fun)

SpareRoomSleeper · 26/05/2011 22:40

Frizzbonce · 26/05/2011 22:40

My Mulberry Bayswater. Arse clenchingly expensive but I carry it everywhere - even the loo.

Mooncup. Wish I'd bought one years ago.

Mason Pearson hairbrush. Bought it 25 years ago - still going strong. The hairbrush that is - I am, however, looking a bit ragged round the edges.

cantpooinpeace · 26/05/2011 22:42

Shopping list is growing.

Moon cup & feather duvet definitely on there :o

Dog - needs no explaining
Car - Ford Focus still going 11 years on
Dishwasher - love the cutlery drawer at top Blush

HughManatee · 26/05/2011 22:46

A Dell PC, negotiated 20% discount and a Bosch dishwasher with 10% discount. Being a skinflint has its advantages.

going · 26/05/2011 22:48

Coffee machine
Sky plus - couldn't imagine not being able to pause tv anymore!
King size bed

BikeRunSki · 26/05/2011 23:00

Flat TV on wall. So much more space in our living room/dining room/play room/study now.

£1 boob tubes (3 or 4 of them) from Primark in pg1. Served as tummy covers, now coming into service in pg2.

Train ticket to Newcastle when I was 21 for MSc interview. Left 8 years later with an MSc, PhD and a DH!

Piffpaffpoff · 26/05/2011 23:04

iPhone - love having the world at my fingertips anytime anywhere. Would not be without it
Humax pvr - like a sky+ box but for freeview. Bought one of these after it was recommended on here, has changed my viewing habits for ever.
Dyson handheld vacuum - amazing, saves me getting the big Hoover out for small spills

fastedwina · 26/05/2011 23:09

My love big, expensive, bouncy pram - felt like a queen walking with it everywhere - loved it. Agree with the cheap hand held blender - had loads of use and still going strong 9 years later. Also my big super kingsize bed - can fit the whole family in it though takes up nearly the whole bedroom.

springbokscantjump · 26/05/2011 23:13

my, ahem, vintage coat that I bought in Cambden market in 2000 for £25. It is the warmest coat I own, I love it and it is worth the eye-watering £50 every two years to get it dry-cleaned.

Ilythia · 26/05/2011 23:14

My sofa. Which is big enough to lie down on, deep enough to curl up and the arms are low and wide enough to get a laptop or plate on. And flat enough for wine. And it's a sofa bed too.

My kindle as it stores all my uni work as well as work stuff and books so it is used All The Time.
