... to think that because I can't see a new IPOAT thread I should start one myself?

Especially as I want to wish CheerfulYank a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY for today. Hope you are having a lovely day.

And here is the patron saint of IPOAT playing Happy Birthday To CY!

Congrats!

CheerfulYank · 26/05/2011 22:13

I'm terribly sad to have just found y'all and missed my lovely birthday wishes! :(

Thank you thank you thank you! Just try getting away from me this time...

Hullygully · 26/05/2011 22:15

Did you have a lovely bday? Was there cake? And balloons being as how you're five and all

Pagwatch · 26/05/2011 22:18

She isn't 5.
She is about 19.

Hullygully · 26/05/2011 22:19

All right, 17 at most. She could be our grandchild.

Pagwatch · 26/05/2011 22:21

She favours you I think. Something about the nose.

Hullygully · 26/05/2011 22:25

Oh god. Poor her.

s'all gone weird out there tonight, only peoples regular quichey threads are normal....which is wrong.

Hullygully · 26/05/2011 22:54

It's fun on the bollocks thread, and the air hostess peedo one hijack thing

Yes actually, I had my birthday at soft play. :o No, what really happened is that I told everyone that the 29th was the Traditional Manual Labor birthday, and I made all my friends come over and paint rooms in my house. One of my very best friends couldn't make it, so we rescheduled and I saved the hellish stair railing spindles especially for her. (Cruel and unusual, but that's what she gets!)

There were no balloons, but there was cake, oh yes indeedy.

Hullygully · 27/05/2011 08:11

What a cunning plan.

Ooo good, I love Iceland. The Gullfoss waterfall, the Northern Lights. The frozen prawn rings.

On second thoughts, I am going to have a dismantle Pag's house and reassemble in my garden party.

Umami · 27/05/2011 19:27

Nothing wrong with prawn rings. We had prawn rings at my wedding.

Honeydragon · 27/05/2011 22:36

At the service or reception? Confused

CheerfulYank · 28/05/2011 02:18

Speak now or forever hold your prawn...

Umami · 28/05/2011 08:16

On the altar. On the vicar's vestments. In the bridesmaids' hair. Those prawn rings where everywhere.

Umami · 28/05/2011 08:17

I don't think holding one's prawn is appropriate behaviour for a wedding, Cheerful. Do behave.
