TheOriginalNutcracker · 23/04/2011 21:36

Urgh what is it, it's hard to tell from the photo ?

WhipMeIndiana · 23/04/2011 21:37

is it maggots? a mouse corpse?

peeriebear · 23/04/2011 21:37

Is it not cooked enough?

Tsil · 23/04/2011 21:37

The pic isn't very clear. Is it blood? Was the chicken cooked through properly?

HollyBollyBooBoo · 23/04/2011 21:37

What is it exactly? Is it a vein that's not been drained of blood properly do you think?

SecretNutellaFix · 23/04/2011 21:37

Eww. What on earth is it?

squeakytoy · 23/04/2011 21:38

Not sure why you would want to name and shame the supermarket, they cant see inside the bags to check the contents. By all means, complain to the manufacturer.

WhipMeIndiana · 23/04/2011 21:38

oh its blood?

Meow75 · 23/04/2011 21:38

Aaargh, really curious, even though I'm certain it'll be gross.

Linky no worky!!!!

ShavingGodfreysPrivates · 23/04/2011 21:38

Looks like blood to me.

tulpe · 23/04/2011 21:39

THat is vile. Am assuming it is blood?

TragicallyHip · 23/04/2011 21:41

Blood? Did the chicken still have the bones in them?

Pics on profile

balia · 23/04/2011 21:41

Are they jam doughnuts but squashed into a funny shape?

crazyh · 23/04/2011 21:43

Was basically cooked through had about 1o mins left of cooking time but I have never seen raw chicken with that much blood coming out of it!!
It was the supermarket that sold it, isnt there responsiblility?
I am just going to ring the 'if you are unhappy with this product' number on the back to complain tomorrow.
Either way this isnt right surely, when I looked at it properly I found I could squeeze a considerable amount of blood out of it.
Just wanted to share my disgust really sorry.

crazyh · 23/04/2011 21:44

Yes its chicken on the bone, still a full chicken doesnt have that amount of blood, well not any I've seen.

Casmama · 23/04/2011 21:44

Its pretty unpleasant but I think you are overreacting. You do realise that it was once a live animal don't you and that it did have blood running through its veins.

catchmeifyoucan · 23/04/2011 21:44

How in the name of bloody hell would the bloody supermarket know? Do you think they x ray all their raw chicken products? Complain to the manufacturer but surely you can see that it's not the supermarket's fault?

GypsyMoth · 23/04/2011 21:45

i have seen this before in food tho. fairly common i would think?

KittyKuddle · 23/04/2011 21:45

I would call customer care line. That is vile!

crazyh · 23/04/2011 21:45

Meow75 will try to link again.
