Reading some of this feminist crap, I just wonder just what is the problem. Yes, i'm a woman. I like being a woman. I'm a SAHM. Yes, I dress dd in pink, she has a barbie. Ds, has an action man. Does this make me a bad person? seriously? Btw, not a troll.

dontjumpplease · 14/04/2011 21:43

action man

Check your facts before shouting troll...

MigratingCoconuts · 14/04/2011 21:45

gosh, that does feel much better..thank you Smile

DontGoCurly · 14/04/2011 21:48

SueSylvesterforPM no, how can I hate you properly when you also hate SATC. It's most inconvenient to my attempts at hating everyone equally when you buck the trends like this!

Why can't people just stay in their designated boxes! Angry furry feminists over here and Subjugated downtrodden wimmin over there! Hmph! I give up!

porpoisefull · 14/04/2011 21:54

OP, do you understand that there's a massive difference between saying "I think I should be able to wear pink, be a SAHM without being criticised" and saying "Men should be men and women should be women", which implies everyone should behave according to traditional stereotypes whether they want to or not?

Blimey, that solves a problem, thanks.
My boys have a charity shop action man MIL got them and they love him Grin

I think it was the "btw not a troll" after such a provocative Op (and another feminist bashing op tonight) that made me think it was less than genuine...

Still unconvinced, action man or no

Portoeufino · 14/04/2011 22:04

Someone tried the tea bitch thing on me once. Well to be more accuarate "the one with the tits makes the tea". I smiled sweetly and said "OK - the one with the tits will make the tea THIS time, but I think next it should be the turn of the one with the biggest knob" I waved my ruler and offered to judge if they couldn't decide amongst themselves....Grin

Strangely, the subject never came up again....

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 14/04/2011 22:04

YANBU. If anyone brings in compulsory sex changes, I'm moving to Maidstone.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 14/04/2011 22:26

BecauseImWoeufIt · 14/04/2011 22:26

Ah. I see einstein1 is new to MN. Welcome.

madwomanintheattic · 14/04/2011 22:26

flowerpot, i spent 16 years working in a male dominated environment where sexist 'banter' was de rigeur.

oh, and there were calendars of women with their tits out on the walls of the offices. but it was, y'know, just boys being boys.

i've recently had a telephone call as i'm being called in a sex discrimination case against five members of the management team.

so, fortunately, one of the women who works there now has got bigger balls than you or i.
