I hope today went as well as could be expected for you. I'm sure whatever you planned for the service was truly fitting as a way to remember your little boy.

Will be planting something as soon as I can for Leo. How sweetly sad that across the world, there will be flowers blooming because of one special little boy. We may see each other's plantings and not know it, but Leo will always be in all our hearts.

I am still so sorry this is something you are facing Edgar, it's just not fair. I've cried just reading this thread (and others), I can't even begin to imagine how you and your family are feeling.

Please know (and I'm sure you do) that we will think of you and Leo and your brood always.

I thought of you today - and at the weekend I am going to scatter wildflower seed around my garden.

I don't know if it could be a comfort to you but I like the idea that the atoms from which we are all made move from one being to another as one life ends and another begins. Maybe part of your little boy will become part of one of the bright flowers he loved .

Dear Edgar family - sorry I missed this thread on Wednesday - I was having my own trauma which is as nothing in comparison with yours. But today I bought a patio rose, called a Chameleon and wasn't really sure why - seeing this, I can see and feel why and tomorrow it will be planted in NSW, Australia in memory of Master Leo - his name enshrined in the name of the rose itself.

I hope that you had a calm day and that things went as you wished them too - and I send you love and strength to cope with the days that follow now.

Another random who has always enjoyed your posts. I took a branch from our frangipani tree today and have set it aside to dry ready to be planted. There will be a frangipani flowering in Sydney for Leo in a year's time.
