I will be thinking of you all tomorrow, especially your dear DS who even though you can't see, hear or touch him will always be with you.

I'll miss seeing your name around - it usually makes me smile - but can totally understand why 'you' need to go.

Thinking of you and your family, Edgar.

I missed the planting of trees thing, but will do so as well. A small corner of Switzerland will always hold the memory of your special little boy.

Farewell, Edgar.

Well I was going to say YABU. But I won't.

Have been wondering how you are. Although I can pretty much guess. I hope tomorrow goes as you want it to. Colour and flowers sounds great. As much as they can be in the circumstances.

We will light a candle tomorrow for your smiling boy. I will also try and plant some nice bright flowers but I don't hold out much hope of them flowering as we have a 10 month old labrador who digs everything up.

I wondered if you would name-change. Totally understandable.

You can always come back as Edgar if you need to off-load/cry/scream or need support about DS.

Good luck tomorrow. Which sounds odd but I mean that I am wishing you the best and all strength to get through a day no parent should have too.

Take care.

wishing you well. As I sit here crying once again for you and your family, I'm struck by how much love your little boy has inspired, and isn't that what life is all about? Through your posts you have enabled so many to show you love and to re-group with our loved ones and "hold them a little tighter" as you said. Thank you for your courage in sharing this with us.

thank you. rindercella you are in my thoughts too.

mamzon i'll be around - but on a different nametag.

will be back for Hully's virtue <

an olive tree is very appropriate...makes me think of Byron and romantic poets.

So many people disparage this site (in some cases for the things i like: the banter, the discussion) but the level of love for all that need it, for the ladies (and sometimes men) going through the everyday mess of life is very inspiring.

Edgar

Your family has been constantly in my thoughts and I have been sending love and light to you often.

I believe your ds was, in fact is, a truly beautiful soul, who chose you as his Mummy in full knowledge of your incredible strength and grace. Through his short life he has given so much to this world, thousands of children have had extra cuddles and hugs from their parents and been told how much they are loved. Hundreds of parents have been reminded how special their children are and how lucky they are to have them in their lives and have been helped to regain a sense of perspective about what is truly important. I know I have been calmer and more loving with my children and both they and I have your beautiful boy to thank for that.

Hundreds of women have reached out to you and to each other across the miles to share their sorrow, sympathy and love. Such an huge amount of love, compassion and positive energy is an incredible thing.

Money has been raised to help others in desperate need and now the world will benefit from the planting of many, many new plants and trees - again contributing to the positive energy raised, as well as benefiting the earth and its inhabitants on a much more fundamental level.

The Moose household will be sending lots more love and light and will continue to do so for the weeks and months to come. My boys and dd want to plant some sunflowers and dh and I will be planting a tree.

I hope the day goes well for you tomorrow and is a true celebration of your beautiful boy and his amazing gifts to our world.

Wishing you much love and strength.
Moose x

Edgar, I am a total random too but I think I live just along the coast from you and I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts tomorrow and in the coming weeks and months as you adjust to this strange new life you now have. He will always be with you, always.

I am hopeless at gardening and vowed not to attempt to grow anything at all this year after last year's disastrous efforts but, in honour of your darling boy, I have bought some sweet pea seeds and I will do my best to make them grow. The colour and scent are so beautiful and I will think of you and your gorgeous son when they flower.

Sending much love and strength to you all. x
