Just happened upon the last one and liked it, so ...

I don't think The King's Speech is that great a film; I think the directing was often unimaginative, cliched and banal and the script obvious. And Helena Bonham Carter wasn't that good.

Grin a lot at Allsquare, that and education...

I have quite a lot been known on occasion to give biscuits for breakfast and quavers for lunch, but not always on the same day.

My 17 year old DD can drink me under the table

I hate Little Britain. David Walliams gives me the creeps.

I leave DC4 in the car when I go into the bank/newsagent/petrol station.

BLW - WTF - way too much mess. Mine have got what their given and I have fed it to them until they can reasonably hold a spoon and do it themselves.

There's more, but I'll wait to see where this goes lest I get into another scrap for having an opinion. I DO say exactly what I mean on MN...Grin

I really hate craft. I was glad when my kids started school and could do it there.

hairylights · 20/03/2011 18:13

I think that if you are overweight the most likely reason is you have eaten too much at some point for a considerable length of time. I also think let's call fat fat, obese obese and get rid of "chubby" and "curvy".

I am fat, by the way (officially over weight)

hormonesnomore · 20/03/2011 18:15

allsquareknickersnofurcoat - I agree. And I think some posters, mentioning no names, use this forum to be very nasty indeed. They forget that there are real people with feelings behind the nicknames.

shimmerysilverglitter · 20/03/2011 18:18

Well I get quite impatient about "diets" too. Eat no more than 1250 calories a day and exercise for 40 minutes 4 to 5 times a week. It really is that simple, honestly it is.

YouTry · 20/03/2011 18:20

I think some people are nasty for the sake of it on AIBU. And according to some posters, everyone is depressed (I think they are lazy/ feckless etc)

I agree that being a SAHM is NOT a full time job and my DD is still under a year old

I hated breastfeeding and am very grateful to the formula inventor for feeding me (when a baby obviously!) and my DD

Oh, and yes, I think people should just be called fat (I am. And yes, I eat too much. And drink too much!)

boosmummie · 20/03/2011 18:21

I hate craft too Shimmery, but I love cooking so we make lots of cakes and muffins. And eat them.

AllSquare & Hormones oh yes, indeed there are, I learnt that this week. I wonder if they'd say what they say in RL to my face. Hmmmmm I don't think so.

boosmummie · 20/03/2011 18:22

I was waiting for that one YouTry - I don't think SAHM is full time either!!!

shimmerysilverglitter · 20/03/2011 18:23

Yes I did loads of cooking too and gardening and tons of outings, so I don't think they missed out too much, hopefully. But my Mum never did craft stuff with me either so I wonder if this is why I don't like it and I am depriving my kids of being really good at something.

theagedparent · 20/03/2011 18:24

I only eat fruit and veg that has been washed and nicely wrapped in plastic.
Can't eat all that fresh stuff with bugs and mud on

OnEdge · 20/03/2011 18:24

I am fat

redexpat · 20/03/2011 18:24

I don't think Helena Bonham Carter is much good in anything other than Harry Potter.

I love this thread!

boosmummie · 20/03/2011 18:26

Grin OnEdge

I love it too! Making me laugh pretty much as the 'when is the right age to draw a tache on my baby' thread.

shimmerysilverglitter · 20/03/2011 18:27

All fruit and veg with a bruise or rotten bit on cannot be eaten, cannot cut the rotten bit off and eat the rest, just can't do it, would make me gag.

dancingmummy · 20/03/2011 18:27

I didn't like "boy in the striped pyjamas" book or film.

I adored the book of slumdog millionaire (can't remember the book's name....) but thought the film was a crock of shit.

redexpat · 20/03/2011 18:27

Wow the nature of the thread changed between pages 1 and 3!

Shoesytwoesy · 20/03/2011 18:27

fuck me, a month away and I thought people would have moved on , but crap threads like this reapear, the first one was sick. full of vile anti sn stuff, hardly fun.

shimmerysilverglitter · 20/03/2011 18:28

Really? Would not be posting anywhere with any shitey anti SN stuff on it.

Missymorrison87 · 20/03/2011 18:29

Agree with the Fat being Fat.

Big boned? No, you have a normal size skeleton. Which is why your hips and knees are in a terrible state?

Glandular? Slow Metabolism? No. Its called OVEREATING generally. Put the fork/chocolate/oversized portion of fried food DOWN!
