Just happened upon the last one and liked it, so ...

I don't think The King's Speech is that great a film; I think the directing was often unimaginative, cliched and banal and the script obvious. And Helena Bonham Carter wasn't that good.

Nigella is too chubby and should lay off the pies, she has great hair though.

Cultural generalisations often come about for a reason. This doesn't mean that everyone from that culture fits into them. But they come about for a reason. Including the generalisations about the culture I am from. Making fond fun of them isn't necessarily racist or even bigoted.

I think too many people say what they think others want to hear, rather than what they believe.

I think formula is the best invention ever.

I think a lot of mners need to get a time-consuming hobby.

I think SHAM's who say "it's a full time job" are having a laugh.

I agree being a SAHM is not a full time job when your children are at school.

Nigella is fat.

Nigella is just greedy whenever I see her "sneaking" off to the fridge at night in her nightie to finish up the chocolate pudding or whatever, I always think how fat and bloaty she will feel when she wakes up the next morning. No issues with chubbiness though, she looks fab.

Since I became more educated about feminism via the forum here on MN, I actually don't like 99% of men at all and see blatant, basic sexism pretty much everywhere.

I don't trust people who hate dogs.

People who pride themselves on not being able to cook, piss me off, what you cannot nourish yourselves and your family and you think it is funny?

Cannot get my head around the fact that in the UK in 2011 we still have faith schools when other European countries not to mention America have separation of church and state

I think Jerry Maguire is a rubbish film. Until I read this thread I didn't know it was unpopular to like Chris Moyles - I love him!
