Just happened upon the last one and liked it, so ...
I don't think The King's Speech is that great a film; I think the directing was often unimaginative, cliched and banal and the script obvious. And Helena Bonham Carter wasn't that good.

Hi there We have had several reports about this thread and wanted to say that although Mumsnet is about free speech, we are also about giving each other (as parents and as individuals from all walks of life) respect and support.
We understand everyone has the need to vent at times but doing so by vilifying other people's parenting choices or situations does rub right up against our Talk philosophy of mutual respect.
We do think it's worth reminding you all that we do ask our members to remember that parenting comes in all shapes and sizes and because we can all find it a pretty hard job at times, the one thing we could always do with is a little support. Please do report anything that you feel crosses the line and we will take a look.
