Just happened upon the last one and liked it, so ...

I don't think The King's Speech is that great a film; I think the directing was often unimaginative, cliched and banal and the script obvious. And Helena Bonham Carter wasn't that good.

Vegetarians are not fussy eaters, they are sentimental twunts who no doubt use low energy lightbulbs made in the coal-powered sweatshops of China & shipped over 3,000 miles so that they can look even more deathly pale over dinner.

aliciasilverstone · 20/03/2011 22:00

I think women who have home births are selfish and putting themselves first.

I don't think you can truly say you love animals unless you are a vegan. I think eating meat is immoral.

I think Brad Pitt is quite disgusting.

SueWhite · 20/03/2011 22:02

(milking it) NOT ONLY would I not mind going to bed with Gordon Brown, I also reckon he'd be absolute filth

Goblinchild · 20/03/2011 22:02

If there is no decent vegetarian meal on offer, I just have triplr dessert. Lived happily in the vegetarian hell that is France on that basis.

Runningjustasfastasican · 20/03/2011 22:03

Wrong wrong wrong

boosmummie · 20/03/2011 22:04

Sue are you feeling OK?

Goblinchild · 20/03/2011 22:04

Lancashire is a shithole.

boosmummie · 20/03/2011 22:05

Try visiting La Linea then Goblin, you will change your opinion very quickly!

starcuntmole · 20/03/2011 22:06

No it isn't

SueWhite · 20/03/2011 22:06

fine thanks. It's a long-term crush, I've sought help but it remains

4FoxAche · 20/03/2011 22:06

Lancashire is a shit hole. Yes. My worst school days ever where at school in Lancashire.

Nothing wrong with home births. Nothing selfish about them either.

Sounds like something my mental Aunty would say actually. Are you her?

spiderslegs · 20/03/2011 22:06

I think women who have home births are brave & like their own beds.

I thinks vegans are generally flacid life haters, the people I know who have the most respect for animals are generally meat eaters. We live in an eco-system, we are not above it.

I think Brad Pitt is quite sexy.

CarnivalBizarre · 20/03/2011 22:06

Chocolate is the shite of the Devil according to my mother but I don't care .... I would happily eat shite all day long

Goblinchild · 20/03/2011 22:06

My opinion of what?

VajazzHands · 20/03/2011 22:07

germany is the worst place to be a vegetarian. I think the pigs actually lay themselves down as you walk past them and commit suicide as they know its a forgone conclusion

spiderslegs · 20/03/2011 22:07

& Lancashire is a shithile, Yorkshire, however, is marvellous.

starcuntmole · 20/03/2011 22:07

People who can't spell were or your shouldn't be allowed their own computers

Goblinchild · 20/03/2011 22:08

Germany has fabulous desserts and excellent kartoffeln. I loved living in Germany.

spiderslegs · 20/03/2011 22:09

Lancashire is also a shithole

VajazzHands · 20/03/2011 22:09

the people I know who have the most respect for animals are generally meat eaters

Yes and hannibal lector was just a people person.

VajazzHands · 20/03/2011 22:09

Kasespaetzl is a thing of the gods but it was the only thing I could eat. I lived in Bavaria though

starcuntmole · 20/03/2011 22:09

Parts of Lancashire maybe slightly shite, but branding a whole county as a shithole is ignorant. Have you been to the Trough of Bowland? Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty= Not Usually Shitholes.

Runningjustasfastasican · 20/03/2011 22:11

I love Germany too - I'd happily live there for good. Ritter sport is the best!

Goblinchild · 20/03/2011 22:12

I lived there too, even the pretty bits had people with racist, narrow-minded and bigoted opinions who wanted to set fire to you for being in possession of an accent.
Only place I've ever had bottles thrown at me and kids taking a class of 7 year olds on a class walk.

aliciasilverstone · 20/03/2011 22:13

spiderslegs - I thinks vegans are generally flacid life haters, the people I know who have the most respect for animals are generally meat eaters. We live in an eco-system, we are not above it.

That's so funny! I am a vegan and know many other vegans across the world, and we are all people who love life! And let me tell you, knowing that no living being suffered to reach my plate is a great feeling... as for your comment about meat eaters having respect for animals - well, how odd. I usually try not to eat things I respect, after they've been forced to leave miserable lives then slaughtered in pain and misery, but, you know, each to his own.

ps most vegans certainly aren't flaccid, we're all generally pretty slender given our diet!
