...on Matt Smith. He's just my type - funny looking, tall and highly talented. I am however 42 and pregnant. I nearly had an attack of the vapours with him in Christopher and his Kind last night. It all started when he announced Orbital at Glastonbury last year and was really cool.

Do you have inappropriate crushes?

I think headteacher crushes are fine too.

I had a Dr once who was always inundated with women needing to see him only. I of course often fell ill never did this.

Ha ha, I know someone with a super-crush on her doctor! Maybe it's the authority thing.

Another vote for Mr Smith here. I had one of "those" dreams not long after he appeared as the Dr and if my imagination is anything to go by, my, my!

Also David Tennant, but I don't think he is inappropriate.

My most inappropriate crushes are:

Alan Rickman

Jimmy Carr

Blush

sorry bout the Clinton crush, Everyone I've told bout that one has the same reaction.
Have to say the Headteacher is nothing like him. Glad I'm not alone on that one.

Anyone else have a crush on David Cameron - or is it just my hormones? (Am 34 weeks pregnant!) I think it's the combination of his kind face, his power and the fact that he looks nice in a suit!!
Also, nearly every man with a beard - but I think that's a primal thing! All that lovely manly hairiness! Lovely that my husband can grow a beard in a week!!

David Cameron might win most inappropriate crush ... (in my opinion obviously). I'm liking beards and general mussedness and cuddliness more as I age, although I do still love a pretty boy with a rake-thin body as well.

CaveMum, Alan R is not inappropriate I don't think. Words fail me about Jimmy Carr, but then again I fancy Eddie Izzard ...

Ooh, I've got two more: Puck and Kurt from Glee Blush. Not at the same time though

Not sure about David Cameron, but hairyness, yes.

I love a hairy chest, none of the baby oiled smoothies for me. :

Doris Day many years ago.....I understand she prefers animals to men these days. Had a lot of nasty experiences with my gender presumably.

Sparky c any man with a beard, eh? Do you fancy whispering Brian Blessed?

Steve Buscemi. From Reservoir Dogs to Boardwalk Empire and beyond. I'm not joking.

Sorry, perhaps if I say it quickly - Mark Owen. I know he's a bad boy, and I'm about six inches taller than him, but I had one of 'those' dreams about him a couple of years ago and now that's it for me. Never thought of him in that way before, I was too old first time round.

Barking, are you HarrietTheSpook? You didn't feel the need to change your name for that, did you? Honestly, that's not a bad one! Doesn't do it for me but he is quite popular with the ladies, I believe.

I wouldn't say no to Howard, personally. And I think I'm too old too.

No Bringbackgoingforgold, although that is funny! I'm a recent returner, having been away from MN for a couple of years.

Reginald D Hunter and Lee Mack.
I must continue to avoid them both.

I would have said River Phoenix but I have recently discovered that the (thin, narrator) one that I thought was RP is someone else who is still alive.
I have nurtured a fatalistic crush for the wrong person.

Sorry, Barking! Dang, that means the other Harriet has still not been back to confess her allegedly massively embarrassing crush ...

purple, I did have a huge crush on River and was devastated when he died. At least your crush is still alive Smile

BarkingHarriet - that's not embarrassing, surely? Well only from the faithless cad perspective, I suppose. He actually lives in my neighbourhood and I've seen him at the playground a few times - I'm sure I'm not the only one pretending not to notice him but actually sneaking glances out of the corner of my eye while DD falls off the climbing frame because I'm not paying attention...

Aidan Turner makes me feel all peculiar. I am 42.

Saw Elbow on Monday. Fell a little bit in love with Guy Garvey.

Report
bean612 · 30/03/2011 16:42

PS. My current crush is only wildly inappropriate because he's 11 years younger than me. Other than that, he is appropriate in EVERY way: Christian Cooke, specifically in The Promise (Middle East drama on Channel 4 recently). Dear lord he is HOT.

Yes and yes to Turner and Garvey. Good taste on this thread! Didn't know Christian Cooke before but having googled him ... ring a ding ding. (I am also way too old for him, and for Turner).

Hi. I just had to respond.

Barking Harriet is not me, Harriet the Spook.

Threesome with Cleggy and Dave - possible for me. You see why I normally keep my mouth shut about who I fancy.

Anyway - the poster who was on about the head teacher and liking your son getting into trouble?

Goodness.

BringBackGoingForGold will this bring you back?

This isn't the really young one, obviously. And it's not justin beiber.

Does anyone on this thread live in North London?
