Having tried to befriend my cervix when getting the hang of the contraceptive cap I found it was a shy, retiring creature better left alone. It was also a long way up, if you'll pardon the detail, explaining the muttered comments about the first doctor to ever to give me a smear that 'she could do with a torch and a miners hat'

I felt mine last week as I thought my coil was falling out.. I can never usually reach it as it's really posterior, but for some reason it was just there.. it is 1 cm dilated. multip os. felt firm .

Have pushed two kids out of it as well but not sure I want a fidget.

It wasn't until I got a mooncup that I realised just how much it moves during my cycle. I can only find mine when I'm on my period, it disappears at other times.

Having had to have various gynaecological procedures I'm always a bit concerned when they ask me to cough and then announce it's come out of hiding. I don't like to think that coughing is dislodging my innards!
