Polierpantoffeln - even the name makes me roar with laughter.

Then I give you: How to hide those unsightly Fairy bottles

And finally, courtesy of BlatherKite's MIL who does not like to see her ugly hoover in the corner.

Does anyone else have any household gadgets that I could add to my collection?

I think those washing up liquid aprons are cuteBlush

throckenholt · 10/03/2011 13:57

I don't know how I have survived to my advanced age without those things - must treat myself - life will be so much better.

MmeLindt · 10/03/2011 13:58

Oh, God. I might have known.

Shame I have already sent the parcel.

:o

you have been entirely reasonable to share with us.

OMG that hoover thingy is scaring me!!

MadreInglese · 10/03/2011 13:58

WTF??!!

Bluemoonrising · 10/03/2011 13:58

I love the aprons too!

But the hoover thing is uglier than the bloomin' hoover!

fizzyliftinggas · 10/03/2011 13:58

The hoover thing frightens the shit out of me!

squashedfrogs · 10/03/2011 13:59

Are the polierpantoffeln for cleaning the floor?

NettoSuperstar · 10/03/2011 13:59

YY, hoover thing not so cute!

fruitshootsandheaves · 10/03/2011 14:00

this is a must have

if only my garden actually looked remotely like that!

MmeLindt · 10/03/2011 14:00

Yes, indeed. You slip the Polierpantoffeln onto your feet instead of slippers and you will never have to clean the floors again.

I am ordering the fairy bottle aprons. How many do we need?

DamselInDisguise · 10/03/2011 14:01

I love the idea that you should hide your 'unsightly upright' with a massive, terrifying doll thingy, which is definitely less attractive than the hoover.

MmeLindt · 10/03/2011 14:01

Hmm. The Wheelie Bin Cover just makes an ugly black bin even uglier.

Hoover cover would not be out of place in a Stephen King movie

OP posts:
NettoSuperstar · 10/03/2011 14:02

Why would you want a god ugly wheely bin, to look like an even uglier Leylandii hedge?

ashamedandconfused · 10/03/2011 14:04

a holiday cottage we stayed in once had one of those hoover covers, twas a mouse lady in a pinny and bonnet, DDs loved it, DH had no idea what it was till i told him LOL

ashamedandconfused · 10/03/2011 14:05

have seen lots of covered wheelie bins - dont people do it so they can ID their own, just like painting the house number on so they don't get saddled with the neighbours bin that stinks of fish guts instead of their own lovingly-bleached-every-week one?

Blatherskite · 10/03/2011 14:07

I've found UK based washing up bottle aprons!! Not quite as fancy as MmeLindt's though - here

Blatherskite · 10/03/2011 14:08

these ones have flowers

LionRock · 10/03/2011 14:08

How about a nice birthing gown?

throckenholt · 10/03/2011 14:08

If I had the Polierpantoffeln the floor would be 90% normal with a trail through it where I walk - and they probably wouldn't stay that delightful pink colour. I wonder if they do a nice blue version for the less girly houseproud peeps ?

Those wheelie bin things won't work - how will you know which one is the recycling bin ?

Blatherskite · 10/03/2011 14:08

Good old notonthehighstreet

ashamedandconfused · 10/03/2011 14:08

woudln't a fairy bottle cover get all dirty and gooey very quickly?

piratecat · 10/03/2011 14:09

OMG hahaha the birthing gown the birthing gown!!

ashamedandconfused · 10/03/2011 14:10

is that a pink knitted dishcloth in blathers link?
