Obviously when I do the laundry I turn the socks the right side around.

But - are my DS's wanking in their socks? I asked ex-DH - when he had stopped laughing he said it was very likely.

Rofl!!!! What would you do if you tried to turn them the right way and discovered your suspicions where right???

I've got to ask, why use a sock for wanking?

Having had many male friends I know that they have "fun time" socks. They're available, right there on the floor.

I can't possibly ask my sons to stop sock wanking and the ex-DH says he isn't going to say anything either - because he can't stop laughing long wnough.

Why not wash the socks as they are and only turn them right side out once they are clean?

I don't think they are fussy - they will wank in any socks.

I said to DS1 (20) - "I would find it disturbing if anyone wanked into their socks and then put it in the laundry basket" (we are quite close)

he laughed and said "you may be disturbed your whole life then".

I just couldn't say - "if you wank in your socks - put them in the machine".

Will ask ex-DH.

I could wash them "as is" then turn them the right way.

Wanksocks are normal by the way, check with husbands and record the look on their faces.

I've got a 49-year-old husband. He doesn't wash his own socks. I've never found 'evidence' of him using them for a wank, but from this very moment I am on a sock washing strike.

In fact I'm not even going to wash DS2's, may as well get him trained at 6.

foundwanting - I heard this story many years ago from a boy friend, about wanking in socks. I forgot all about it.

I then became disturbed at the state of the laundry socks - phoned ex-DH (good friend - who laughed), confronted DS1, who laughed. I am, frankly, disturbed.

Like you, I am sure, I am changed countless nappies, cleaned the bog thousands of times, changed the sheets. But wanksocks? Eurgh.

Whatever my toes are curling up in my socks at the thought. At least, I hope they are my socks and I haven't got a pair of boy socks on.

Funny thing is that I handled the accidental wet-dream pyjamas without a thought.

OMG Just asked OH (completely horrified and disbelieving btw that someone would do such a thing) if he'd ever done that with a sock.

He just says "ummm, of course" (as a teenager). Oh dear. I feel very silly.

YES - THEY WANK IN THEIR SOCKS. That's what they do. They are sockwankers.
