My CDWM thread has gone from OTBT...I've name changed (and will be doing so again) but AIBU in thinking that MN should be a safe haven for ranting and bitching away from RL???? huh?

Emailed one of the producers last week after watching the show to share a few thoughts. Just had a reply saying, and I quote:

OP, I remember you! I remember your first thread about this in AIBU, where you did the blow-by-blow update as each episode was filmed - as I recall, on that thread you were pretty scathing about everyone apart from one of them (possibly Toni?) you did like and thought you'd see again.

The other threads went in to full detail about every night. The others were ok. I've stayed very much in touch with Toni and we do meet up for coffees. John I'm sort of in touch with as well and have seen a few times since. Paz and April are ok too, might even be seeing Paz in a few weeks.

lol bup. As i explained in previous thread. My family is of ugandan origin where grasshoppers are a tasty delight. Took a lot of planning to get them. No way could i have organised them betweenher comment on monday and my night on wednesday. . Clever that they edit out my background, which is shared with paz. Once something's on your menu not allowed to remove.

FWIW Paz is a mincy old queen and his costume looked fucking ridiculous, like a Primark David Bowie.

I can accept that editing didn't help, but they can't actually put words in your mouth, can they?!

i watched it and thought you were hideous! however tired you were etc no one would be able to put words into my mouth. They were your thoughts and feelings so no amount of editing could change that.

Have only skimmed this thread so far, but suffice to say that this is why I will NEVER go on CDWM, even though deep down I would truly love to. Never trust people who work in television. Their only agenda is to make everyone look like a bitch or an idiot or a bore or a twat. If they didn't, no-one would watch.

I would love to go on too but I fear that I would make it too easy for them to edit me as a cunt.

As a result of this thread, I watched the first three episodes of it, up to the evening you hosted. I accept that they have edited and taken out of context things that you did and said, but as other people have said on here - you have to have said them in the first place for it to be shown. You were incredibly two faced with Paz, who frankly seemed well intentioned, if a little silly. You certainly didn't come across well at all - I'd stop drawing attention to yourself about it if I were you.

And I totally second fellatio about why I would never ever ever go on tv.
