My CDWM thread has gone from OTBT...I've name changed (and will be doing so again) but AIBU in thinking that MN should be a safe haven for ranting and bitching away from RL???? huh?

Emailed one of the producers last week after watching the show to share a few thoughts. Just had a reply saying, and I quote:

"I'm glad you don't have regrets despite the nasty producer making you do all those bad things. (I'm an avid reader of mumsnet you know..)"

FFS, does a girl have no privacy? Shock

But the show is edited every week now to make one person look a snob she was just unlucky I suppose

I didn?t mean to dredge up all that stuff again anyway, lord knows I?ve more than had my 15 minutes Hmm with all the bloody moaning I?ve done hence name change.

I lurked on the other thread. I'm not surprised the producers saw it. It was on active convos for a while and I followed it to OTBT, which I'd never heard of before, but it didn't take much working out.
I'm an avid CDWM fan and reading about the amount of editing has spoilt it a bit. (it's obvious that some things are set up, but had no idea they had so much input to entertainment etc). I watched last week and kept thinking that the chicken soup bloke had probably been set up to look like an arse.

OP you do know that paz said on the facebook page last week that you where really nice you just didnt know how to act in front of the cameras and they used that fact Im sure it was you hang on and Ill have a look again

chopchop - chicken soup guy said directly to the camera that he wanted to cause arguments, theres editing and there are saying rude things to people. he had a choice and he chose to say all those things, if you don't say them they you can't get in trouble for it.

Funnily enough I watched this last night (we are always behind in Qatar) and I do sympathise with you. I am sure that the editing is not a true representation of the actual event. Ok, people may say that you would be naive to enter into this without knowing the risk but sod them. It must be so bloody annoying to be judged like that without being able to film another programme to defend yourself. You should make another episode yourself and put it on You Tube so people can see the real you. You would probably get more viewers than the show. especially if you throw in a few morsels about how they really make the series...
