My CDWM thread has gone from OTBT...I've name changed (and will be doing so again) but AIBU in thinking that MN should be a safe haven for ranting and bitching away from RL???? huh?

Emailed one of the producers last week after watching the show to share a few thoughts. Just had a reply saying, and I quote:

Cookielove, they have hours and hours of footage. The impression I got from the original thread was that they asked very leading questions on the individual filming bits and then edited them out of context to portray the contestant in a particular way. That's why it's spoilt a bit for me. Chicken soup bloke obviously did say those things, but I'm left wondering what questions he was asked for that to be his response.

Well yes altinkum, i just didn't want to say her name and then have everyone shout at me but i think it is rather obvious which one she is.

Yes chopchop i realise they have hours of footage, but do they really edit conversations to make them appear to make certain people look bad, for example, when zach/zak was complemting someone elses prawns, and then saying so much better than yours jerry. You can edit it out, but he was blantently being a wind up merchant

You didn't really think that the music we hear is the music people play? Obviously it's put in at post-production. Just like the music they play while you are doing your shopping/cooking.
