I am getting increasngly perpelexed at the numbers of women, not just young gilrs, but women who walk around at 3pm in their PJ's.

I started seeing it at the school gates and assumed mum was woken late and just rushed to get child to school.
BUt then i would see the same mum collect the child in the afternoon in the same Pj's.

i am now seeing them walking around supermarkets in them.

WTF is wrong with pulling on jeans and a baggy jumper if you can't be arsed to make an effort?

it is disgusting. it can't be hygenic surely?

I see it all the time, pyjamas and fake ugg boots. Very strange and I find I have to try hard not to stare.

I'm too old to go out in my pyjamas and too young to go out in my slippers. I have however taken dd to school in my pj's but not since she could get herself ready and I wouldn't dare get out of the car!

Well, I've spent all day wearing PJs. I have had a bath and washed my hair and put clean ones on, so am most definitely not skanky. Mind you I am originally from SE London, so obviously have chav tendencies Wink

I thought you might like to know that yesterday (early evening) my 14yr old daughter and I were in a shop when her form tutor came in wearing a cow print onesy. Ha haaaaaaa. She didn't even look embarrassed Grin

It doesn't seem to happen in wales, maybe we are more old fashioned.Although,I love pjs, they are so comfy,so would love to wear them out.Me and girls often put them on after teatime,to feel more relaxed, but then remember have to nip to shop for something, and it is a bother to have to put your clothes back on.

This does not happen in Bath.

TheGashlycrumbTinies · 03/03/2011 15:10

This does not happen in Cheltenham, I've not seen it.

Scrumpet · 03/03/2011 15:12

Well, you may say that Kerala and BoiledEgg, but until yesterday I had never seen it in Bristol. Perhaps it's a bit of a rarity in the west country?

Fourleaf · 03/03/2011 15:27

I have the answer .....the other day I received in my spam mailWink an ad from America .......it was ..... - parp parp ......pyjama jeans - pyjamas that look like jeans - you may never need to change your bottoms again (of course you would Hmmfor bathing and washing) but with pyjama pants you can go about your day in comfort and ermmm style.
