I can feel the tension building.........er, actually no I can't. It's a sodding cookery programme.

its shittttt, turned off last night, fuck sake how long is it going on for, I mite tune back in once they have "auditioned" and actually start to cook.

I think they feel they have to mess with it to keep it fresh and interesting and to pull in new viewers. It's not the first time it's been overhauled.

Yes it's so goddamn annoying, blub I liked the old masterchef. Actually I liked the old,old masterchef with tables with coloured edges.

Who really gives a fuck about the contestants, nevermind their shagging families.

YANBU I totally agree. Also this new studio is all black and dark, whereas the old studio was light and bright. Totally prefer the old one. This audition stage is so boring...I hope they are not going to stay in this new studio

i can't bear either of the chef/judge/presenter chaps. and that woman's voice over set my teeth on edge. i shan't be watching.

Gave up halfway through last night and didn't bother tonight, too long and repetitive. Will probably return when the next round starts.

Why mess? Because the Australian version (which I assume is what they are copying) has been the highest rating programme on TV for about 3 years running! Seriously!
Then again, Australians seem to be much more food obsessed than the English.
For your sake I hope it's not as successful there as it has been here, because if it is you may end up with Junior Masterchef which is the same but feature chefs who are all about 8yo! Amazing what some of those kids can do, but OMG the precocious little sh*ts nearly made me slap the telly!

Masterchef didn't need all of that pretentious bollocks, just cooking. What was wrong with the invention test. Why the xfactor styling?

I loved Masterchef. I watched it religiously and I'm fed up now that its so crap.

I really liked Reeves and Mortimer version, I would def watch that.

I saw some of the aussie one and it was too much about the people and not enough bloody cooking.

Tonight's was better than last night's. I think it might be growing on me. Anyway, they've done the audition bit now.

But I did like them getting 6 people in the kitchen at once, usually with two who could not cook at all.

I do feel they're not just choosing them based on cooking ability though.

it really made an hour each night seem very long. and i don't like th fussy set backdrop or the chuffing back and forth through the door. i am very ho hum so far.
