Tar for the cat

Sorry for another cat thread but I found this highly amusing and see it as justice done.

I returned from holiday on Sunday and was accosted by my neighbour who complained that her cats had walked roof bitchumen (tar like stuff) from the roof of my extension (we had it done just before going away) all around her house and had marked carpets and bed linen.

she said I should have informed her the roof had been done. As I have asked her on several occasions to keep her cats off my property I dont see she has a leg to stand on.

Our homes both have extensions and she leaves her rear upper window open for the cats to come and go.

Agent, You sound a bit anal about 'your' property OP, do you throw bricks at birds and hedgehogs as well? nope but I detest foxes as well.

SueWhite, at the time he was four of five years old and had been playing in the sand pit before lunch (and the cat) with no problem.

oh, i thought you wer joking about the brick throwing but now i see you aren't have you informed your neighbour of what is to become of her cats should they enter your garden? it really is only fair to warn her so that she may purchase appropriate vets insurance and also have the number of the RSPCA handy.

allsquareknickersnofurcoat · 15/02/2011 00:19

Where do the animalpolice stand on rats? Are you allowed to poison them nowerdays or is that frowned upon?

newwave · 15/02/2011 00:20

OK SueWhite, so you think it is ok for other peoples cats to damage plants on your property, are you sure.

Yes. It's a frickin' plant. Get a life.

AgentZigzag · 15/02/2011 00:23

You're just bored newwave, and funny you've found an ally in allsquare so quickly.

I'll leave you to your ridiculous thread, and hope other posters don't bother engaging for your obvious pleasure.

SueWhite · 15/02/2011 00:23

I would call the RSPCA and have the python removed. Doubt they would come out for a cat taking a shit.

robotlollypopman · 15/02/2011 00:24

How do you win a prize twat? Does it come attached to anything or just in a frame?

newwave · 15/02/2011 00:25

OhFor, as I said I have asked her (nicely) several times to keep her cats out of my garden and have mentioned the shit and plant damage, her answer was "how do you know it was one of my cats" fair enough so I treat all cats equally.

If its my pet, why does it have any less right to be there than a cat? As I said, my DH is allergic, so hes more in danger of a cat than you would be of a python?

that isn't what i asked you newwave. i asked if you had made her aware of what you will do to her cats if they are in your garden?

allsquareknickersnofurcoat · 15/02/2011 00:26

Agent are you suggesting that we're the same person?

OhForBoonessSake · 15/02/2011 00:27

what i am saying is, does she know you will throw/ have thrown a brick at her cat?

newwave · 15/02/2011 00:28

Cat owners make me laugh, it's ok for cats to shit where they like and damage what they like as you dont give a shit cannot control them.

can I just emphasise that I wouldn't actually launch a brick at a cats head... throw it a couple of metres away so it scares the fucker off? Yes..

What's wrong with that?

OhFor, yes if they are in the flower beds or crapping on the lawn.

OP posts:
OhForBoonessSake · 15/02/2011 00:31

you told her they will get a brick to the head and she still talks to you?

allsquareknickersnofurcoat · 15/02/2011 00:32

:( Poor snakes. I wouldnt seriously let my babies loose though!

Im just pointing out that people have a very strong opinion when its about cats or dogs, but not the animals that are less cuddly
