This is sick and brings more shame on the Canadian nation.

So the actions of one person are to be held against "The Canadian Nation"? Confused
It was a terrible thing, it is being treated as such, the humane society and the RCMP are involved, it isn't being hushed up ..... surely this should bring shame on the person responsable? How is the entire "Canadian nation" to blame?

The link does not work???? 100 Huskie dogs were shot and stabbed to death after becoming surplus to requirements after the 2010 winter Olympics. They were used to pull tourists on sleds. The company, Outdoor Adventures and Howling Dogs, continues to advertise dog sled rides. They were killed over two days in front of one another. Some were not killed outright and were seen crawling out of mass graves.

again, a horrific situation, and the people responsable should be jailed.....but you still haven't said how this bring shame on the entire nation?
I am not trying to be an ass, but that is really, really insulting. I am a Canadian, an animal lover, and have worked doing animal rehab. I am very upset about this, but I think you are being really inaccurate.

after the seal massacre, hunting wolves with helicopters and a person called Sarah Palin killing and posing with Polar bears yes I think it does bring shame on the Canadian nation! Are you Canadian? It happened after the 2010 winter Olympics and has only come to light now. If this idiot had not claimed PTS no one would have known about it.

It is disgusting.

It does not bring shame on the canadian nation any more than illegal pit bull fights to the death bring shame on the british nation.

It brings shame on the person who did it.

The fact that these dogs were surplus to requirements and were going to be 'humanely' bumped off is also disgusting.

I giessed what this was about when I read the title. Anyone who is on my FB knows what I think, most of those who aren't couldn't handle my opinion.

Let's just say YANBU and I wish the same upon the perpetrator.
