To laugh at women that don't work but........

To laugh at women that don't work but rush to the school gates 10 mins after the bell and usually rushing in at school finishing time rambling on about how busy they are and there is not enough time in the day.

I only work 16 hours a week and still manage to get everything done and a meal on the table.

So the question is ''Are people that work more organized?''

You cant be working that hard if you have time to not only ponder this question, but post on MN about it and then read the pages and pages of responses.

I would suggest that while you may have a paying job, you clearly dont do any actual work!

Well I work and my kids are always on time.

When I wasnt working they were often late. How you would have laughed as I shot out the door after making my terminally ill DD comfortable, waiting for the nurses to give her meds and rushing the kids to school and haring back so she wasnt on her own for long.

I tell you, it was hil ar re ous Hmm

Dramatic maybe but an illustration of how you havnt a bloody clue about how other people live their lives.

Get over what? It was you that started this thread, presumably because you wanted to talk about this very subject!

What did you expect people to say? Did you expect everyone to agree with you? Are you just annoyed that everyone didn't play along with you neat little theories on child raising?

Grow up. Stop laughing publically at people you don't know/have no clue about. It makes you look like a complete arsehole.

Working parents and sahps all have to -

Get themselves dressed.
Get their kids dressed.
Make sure their kids have things like lunches, coats, boook bags.

Unless parents in paid employment are sending emails, taking calls before school then aren't they both in the same boat? Confused. Why should you laugh at SAHP but not a working mother who is late?

I was late this morning and an currently a SAHM. Told the kids to start getting their things together. Instead they came down with a pile of toys and started to play. I made them get ready then take all their clutter back upstairs. This made us late.
