To think that Glee is a pile of shite?

I've just had to endure watch this for the first time. What a load of utterly hideous American moralising crap. And ruining a load of good songs to boot. Terrible, terrible television.

I watch this with my daughter and yes it is a load of nonsense but we usually enjoy it and we love Sue Sylvester! Apparantly this weeks episode wasn't the best (I haven't watched it yet) so you might have got a worse impression of it than normal Grin

I don't know which episode it is BUT IT'S RUBBISH!!! I'm amazed that my otherwise sensible 14 yr old DD is watching it. "losing my religion" has been totally ruined, as has "bridge over troubled water". It shouldn't be allowed. And you lot ABU in watching it. Grin

I watched some of the first series as I'm a sucker for a song-and-dance routine, but I think globex's 'cynical' description sums it up for me.

Some of it I really liked, though, like the 'Single Ladies' dance by the jocks, and actually most of the performance (as I said, sucker).

I just get fed up that everything has to be seen as ironic, even things supposedly aimed at the young.
