Oh yes, a nice cuppa and perhaps even a biccy. Let's go mad. I want a McVities Ginger. Or a bourbon.

Umami · 20/01/2011 09:28

I have a cup of tea. And if you can wait a wee while there'll be some fairy cakes too. Most conducive to eurhythmy they are too.

Umami · 20/01/2011 09:29

Awa' wi' ye bourbons you decadent hoor Shock! Do ye not know this is a decent thread?

Umami · 20/01/2011 09:30

(haven't the foggiest about the dialect there. IPOATian, presumably Hmm)

Hullygully · 20/01/2011 09:32

Oh should it be the other lot then?

I'm having coffee. Tea is for First Thing. Then it's coffee all morning, about six cups, then tea at about four, then coffee after dinner, if out.

They are The Rules.

Hullygully · 20/01/2011 09:32

Quite a Wee Free dialect I shouldn't wonder.

OP posts:
Jins · 20/01/2011 09:33

Oh no Hully

Tea is for emergencies and trauma whatever time of the day.

I don't even like tea but tea is called for

BeribbonedGibbon · 20/01/2011 09:34

Yes. We need pots of tea, cake and biscuits aplenty and comfy oversized chairs we can curl up in and shut the world out...

Jins · 20/01/2011 09:35

Draw the blinds girls and lock the front door.

Here's a cushion

BeribbonedGibbon · 20/01/2011 09:35

Ah, I am a coffee in the morning person. Tea is just not right first thing. Then tea the rest of the day.

BeribbonedGibbon · 20/01/2011 09:35

except when it's wine time obv

Jins · 20/01/2011 09:38

Well maybe a bit later when we feel calmer we can have a small sherry or a bucket of wine

Umami · 20/01/2011 09:46

Crivens.

Hully is my Mum. She has the same set tea/ coffee schedule. It confuses poor DH no end.

Frangelico in your coffee anyone?

Because it's all getting a bit normal

Umami · 20/01/2011 09:47

Creme egg?

Hullygully · 20/01/2011 10:06

He always had a certain something.

Hugenots. Those were the chaps.

OP posts:
Umami · 20/01/2011 10:12

Have they got raisins in?

Jins · 20/01/2011 10:14

No raisins for me please. They are too healthy. I just like chocolate on my biscuits

Umami · 20/01/2011 10:15

A plate of chocolate Hugenots it is then. I hope they're robust enough for a good dunking.

pagwatch · 20/01/2011 10:17

My dh is descended from the hugenots so my surname is French and very silky and swishy and lovely.

Please do not dunk me in tea.

Hullygully · 20/01/2011 10:19

What a great name for biscuits, Chocolate Hugenots. The biscuit that goes against the grain.

OP posts:
Hullygully · 20/01/2011 10:19

I know your surname ooooooooooooooooooo (ghostly noise), unless it is your dh's and you changed.

We could dunk you in espresso.

OP posts:
Hullygully · 20/01/2011 10:20

Der. You do indeed say it is your dh's. Tis bright and shiny, no?

OP posts:
Umami · 20/01/2011 10:20

Hullygully · 20/01/2011 10:21
