you could all just throw your prescription meds into a paper bag and then have a lucky dip

better than a charabanc to Southend on Sea in my book

Jins · 17/02/2011 21:25

Stop fiddling with those bedpans. I've only just got em shiny

Hullygully · 17/02/2011 21:49

Back in the real world I have managed to delete my booking confirmation for a hotel in Belgium for next week and can't remember the name of it either. That's going to make me popular!

Hullygully · 18/02/2011 10:11

I'm going to have to search the history on my pc and email them all aren't I?

MadameDefarge · 18/02/2011 14:20

slouches in, a mackingtosh slung over shoulders.

My poor kitchen is full of pest control and builders. Roland the biggest rat in the world has chewed through several pipes causing mahoosive flooding. Again

Bah.

Hullygully · 18/02/2011 14:28

Oh Mimi.

Has there been any snogging to compensate?

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 18/02/2011 15:17

well, I have high hopes of a super high flying ad exec currently in NY on business, but he does seem taken by the mimi lure. Lives in London.

Hullygully · 18/02/2011 15:20

Have you met him yet?

Snogged?

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 18/02/2011 15:26

Not yet. But he is "intrigued" by my minxy ways.

Hullygully · 18/02/2011 15:29

That sounds terribly worrying...

How is life in the kitchen? Sides rats, builders and debts?

funnily enough, I am feeling really happy about it...kind of getting into my groove. I can see what i need to do to make it better, and its all doable. I need to keep reminding myself that its our first year of trading, and its a good little business. Just wish I wasn't so undercapitalised.

I think Madman could be really good fun. He comes from same part of the world as me, and I adore the accent (though lost it myself many moons ago). Has kids, obviously solvent, very witty. Could be a fun evening, all in all, when we meet.

Hullygully · 18/02/2011 15:38

I'm so pleased things are good Mimi!

We will need a full report on Madman, of course.

Well you won't catch me bedazzling my fanjo. Life's too bloody short for all that nonsense

CheerfulYank · 18/02/2011 18:10

I expect you to report back instanter the second you catch sight of a jeweled 'jo, Jins. I mean, duck out of the exam room and log on to MN if necessary. :o

Umami · 18/02/2011 18:32

I could bedazzle my fanjo ('vajazzle', I believe the young people call it), but it would be somewhat like trying to embellish the Brazilian rainforest with the Koh-i-noor.

MsMaryWollstonecraft · 19/02/2011 17:45

I hope you will find these more the thing, ladies

I am returned from the city of Mozart's Balls. and what have I walked into? Go away for a few days and what happens, heh, heh? Fe-bazzlejazzling, shiney bed pans and merkins,lawks-a-mercy what next.
Pass the bedpan hip flask. there's a dear.

MadameDefarge · 21/02/2011 06:14

Hallo girls! Updates updates.

Madman is being amusingly attentive via email. I am muchly enjoying the the updates on swanky NY restaurants he has eaten in.

Its my birthday today! woo ooo ooo! Join me in an early maidenjuice julep!

Umami · 21/02/2011 07:22

Aaah, many happy returns Mimi! Slosh some of that julelp on my cornflakes, would you?
