Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

Everyone OK?

elmofan · 14/03/2011 22:07

How is everyone?

gomummygo · 14/03/2011 22:30

Hiya all, how is everyone today?

Am somewhat traumatized today. Today I have had a man expose himself to me . He was standing behind my vehicle on the street (I was parked, DS was in his carseat in the back) but I paid no attention as I was waiting for something and talking with DS in the babyview mirror. Then I look back in the main rearview mirror to prepare to pull out of the space and...well...there he was.

Jamie is lovely Tiredmum, and goes really well with your surname...I know this as I actually know someone quite well IRL who almost has that exact name! :) Now I am that Cheerful gets name credit! Grin

candleshoe · 14/03/2011 22:33

Eeeww poor you gomummy!

elmofan · 14/03/2011 22:39

description of his nether region.Wink

CheerfulYank · 15/03/2011 00:26

EWWWWWW! That happened to me and a friend once, and it was beyond narsty.

What must these people be thinking?

Teaandcakeplease · 15/03/2011 10:05

Oh yuck GoMummy, poor you

OP posts:
valiumredhead · 15/03/2011 11:17

Oh ICK!!! Shock you poor thing gomummy xxx

Happened to me too - you want to bleach your eyeballs don't you?

candleshoe · 15/03/2011 11:18

Put the bleach down NOW!

Morning benchers! Smile

gomummygo · 15/03/2011 12:12

Morning all! LOL, Candle I never put bleach down, but will try to keep it out of my eyes. Though that is actually what I'd like Valium, exactly. Cheerful that's what I said to DH afterwards - What could that man possibly be thinking? Like I'm going to say to myself "Oh wow, that's great" and leap out of the vehicle and tell him how impressed I am? Hmm No I didn't go to the police Elmo, but am now rocking back and forth again thinking of "giving them a description."

How've you been lately Tea?

valiumredhead · 15/03/2011 13:52

Police are a waste of time ime. I reported it once as I had a child with me and it was the teenage(19) son of a neighbour of the child I was nannying for ( years ago) He stood at the window and basically rubbed himself up and down the window - really disgusting, and I'm not easily shocked. The police basically laughed and said he wasn't committing a crime. Bet if he did it at the Queen it would be a different matter! Angry

Tiredmumno1 · 15/03/2011 15:28

Hi all, gomummy thats horrid there really are some odd people out there, hope you are ok now

Went to docs and i have an infection Sad, i had my staples out on sunday which hurt a bit, there were 16 Shock

(I have told jamie bout his adopted aunts, he looked at me like i was mad) Grin

valiumredhead · 15/03/2011 15:32

Oooooooooooooo tired that sounds painful Sad why do they do staples? (nosey) I had a long thread with a bead thing on the end. I can still feel it when it was pulled out - VERY odd feeling.

I had staples when I broke my ankle though - hundreds of them!!!! I fainted and squeezed dh's hand a bit too hard. He said I was green! Grin

I hope you feel much better soon. How is Jamie? :)

elmofan · 15/03/2011 15:51

[hands around Brew to help gomummy get over the shock]

Oooh tiredmum you poor thing Sad i had an infection in my scar after my dissolvable stitches didn't dissolve & my gp tried to pull them out [3weeks later] & i was rushed back into hospital as my scar started to open as he pulled [boak] please please take care of yourself [hugs]

OMG Shock Valium your streaker sounds deranged [yuk]

Tiredmumno1 · 15/03/2011 16:01

Thanks elmo and valium, i dont know why they did staples, even the midwives are a bit baffled as to why, i am trying to take care as much as i can, keeping the scar bathed in warm salt water, and have ab's now.

Jamie is doin fab, he is still so tiny, i cant stop looking at him, he loves cuddles

elmofan · 15/03/2011 16:24

Hope you feel better soon x and give little Jamie a cuddle from his adopted Aunts Grin

gomummygo · 15/03/2011 16:25

Sips Brew, thanks Elmo! Ugh Valium that sounds awful. This was the other end of the spectrum, a large (as in overweight, not particularly tall) man probably close to 60, holding himself and grinning casually. Think I just threw up a little describing that.

Sorry to hear about your infection Tiredmum, I had one as well, (almost same dissolving stitches situation as Elmo too!) it hurts. :( Have never seen staples but they sound painful, as does the idea of having them removed. Hope the boys (well, the bigger ones anyway) are taking good care of you.

of tiny little baby cuddles...so happy for you.
