BBC3 is Channel 4 15 years ago. It's all yoof, innit?

BBC4 has a lot of good stuff, but there are some shitty, on-the-cheap documentaries, too. Just archive footage loosely pulled together and voiced over.

Radio 4 news and debate = brilliant. Drama and the Archers? Not for me. Not this side of hell.

AbsofCroissant · 06/01/2011 17:38

What's this other playground? What's going on? I thought JakeBrake was a certain MNer who traverses under various guises.

Rannaldini · 06/01/2011 17:38

i sometimes listen to the archers
i am under 65

Chil1234 · 06/01/2011 17:39

No idea about the viewers but I think the writers are a bit thick.... and patronising if that's how they thing working-class people carry on. Have a sneaky feeling that they wouldn't set foot in the East End without having first been vaccinated and all their research time is spent watching old episodes of Only Fools & Horses.

NewYearNewPants · 06/01/2011 17:40

I choose to ignore it, smallwhitecat. Its all you ever seem to have to offer, and it gets tired after a while.

You may think you come across as clever and snippy, but the picture in my head is not that, at all.

Now, if you;d like to leave the personal insults aside, we can get back to talking aout Eastenders.

foxinsocks · 06/01/2011 17:40

I don't know you rannald Wink

h keeps saying that too Jake but unfortunately, my job not conducive to twittering. I imagine I would receiveth the sacketh in about 24 hours if I started on there.

JakeBrake · 06/01/2011 17:40

JakeBrake · 06/01/2011 17:41

You should get a prize or summink, Rannaldini. Write to the producers and tell them. If you are under 40, I reckon there might be a guest appearance or something in it for you Grin

foxinsocks · 06/01/2011 17:41

welcome to my world!

AbsofCroissant · 06/01/2011 17:42

BMC? British mountaineering Council? Are they invading MN? How dare they

JakeBrake · 06/01/2011 17:43

I have wondered though when people say that they tape it so that they "don´t miss anything"

Is it really hard to follow?Confused

I was hoping it was the Big Mens (only) Club that was infiltrating, and we were going to have some really interesting Friday night bumsex threads.

Ach well.

AbsofCroissant · 06/01/2011 17:44

Fecking mountaineers with their weird shoes and flasks and unfashionable outer wear.

Shoo! Shoo!

Ah, get you usual

NewYearNewPants · 06/01/2011 17:45

In fairness, no, it isn't@diddl.

I have missed months and months and picked it up again in two episodes. That's part of the beauty. Comfy old slippers. Kind of like you old folks feel about the Archers Smile

TheCoalitionNeedsYou · 06/01/2011 17:45

Most Radio 4 drama IS awful though.

Rannaldini · 06/01/2011 17:45
