All these threads about spelling and grammar have made me compare the spelling and grammar of mn to other parenting forums.

There is one in particular that I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention but I'm a member because some friends are and it drives me insane.

I'm very polite though and don't say anything because it would be wrong. Also apparently on this site you aren't allowed to disagree with anyone else or the thread gets locked.

You also aren't allowed to post about anything that could even vaguely start a debate.

And no one can spell.

Or apparently knows one end of a baby from another.

I love mn.

It's why I'm still here. Despite the tights...

I'm also loving it over here compared to over there, I also really like the lack of tickers and having to see that woman's beautiful children half a dozen times an hour!

Although, I did find their local boards really helpful in locating all of the local weirdos and learnt the lesson early in motherhood that just because we have children doesn't mean that we have to be friends

I do have a ticker on that site but only because I like seeing exactly how old ds is.

Also because of the post counts and "likes" it's really obvious I'm a relative newbie so I get ignored. And it really pisses me off when I am really helpful and knowledgeable and nice even though I really want to ask the op if she ever managed to keep a goldfish alive and no-one likes my input.

At least here if you don't like me I will just get told so none of this passive aggressive "liking" business.

And I can't give . Noone would understand the humour. They are very literal that way.

Ive been here for 7yrs. Ive tried the rest but felt like I had absolutely nothing in common with anybody on any other site.

The ticker drive me nuts but the absolute killer for me is that the women are so fucking dull!

BabyandBump is the one...check out the "baby club" it's my favourite place to go if I ever want to smack my head against a wall repeatedly.

KellyMom is one of the worst for no disagreement allowed (and that includes not disagreeing with the site) when I'm bored I play "how long can I take to get kicked from KM?" the only rule is I have to stay polite and not deliberately be nasty (it's easy really just post about BLW)

I'm pretty sure I know the site you mean though, the fact most people on KM would know which way up a baby goes ruled them out. I'm sure similar threads could be posted on any forum though.
