All these threads about spelling and grammar have made me compare the spelling and grammar of mn to other parenting forums.

There is one in particular that I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention but I'm a member because some friends are and it drives me insane.

I'm very polite though and don't say anything because it would be wrong. Also apparently on this site you aren't allowed to disagree with anyone else or the thread gets locked.

You also aren't allowed to post about anything that could even vaguely start a debate.

And no one can spell.

Or apparently knows one end of a baby from another.

I love mn.

spelling and grammar matter but it is not wort.h making a religion of either....Teachers have been known to differ on the importance of spelling and grammar....and Martin Amis is not
like his dad Kingsley in writing terms...

I am on the purple one for discussion of a particular topic only. Every time I venture into the other sections I feel a bit ill at the overuse of hun, hunni, incorrect use of lol, etc.

Also the names section is terrible. I have to hold myself back from rampaging about yelling 'spelling the name wrong doesn't make it unique, it just means you spelled it wrong'.

Onestep, I wouldn't dream of saying.

I don't want to hug. It just always confuses me that when people send one another hugs they have to say
