Hello waves I'm new around here. I'm Kirsty, mum to 10 lovely children. I'm curious as to what you honestly think of people with lots of children. I am not on any benefits and their child benefit goes into their savings accounts. (I hope this doesnt sound like I am bragging, I just hate when people assume we are scroungers, this is most definately not the case)

Kayah depends on circumstances surely. I don't fancy it personally.....

eg children aged 2 or over might be at nursery so even with 10 children might only have a baby and a toddler at home all day. Or might have daytime help, eg au pair/nanny/GPs.

But yes, easier to give a bottle as its quicker, physically less demanding, and can be given by older child or by someone else.

As I have said I don't buy the enviromental arguements as some families with 2 or 1 children take loads of foreign holidays / eat food high in food miles etc.

I think it's terrible and you should sell some of them on ebay Wink

Well - I said when there are only 2 grown ups.
I didn't assume help of au pairs, gp's not even nurseries

come on - try to get all of the kids out at the same time by 2 adults
unless older ones were in charge of dressing younger ones is not going to happen

I have once seen a line of socks in the garden of family of 5 school age kids, it was at least 30 m long :)

It would happen. You have to be very organised and make sure you leave lots of time.

It can be done. And without the older ones dressing the younger ones although the older ones were responsible for dressing themselves. And by one adult (me). Although sometimes it was interesting (turning around as we were about to exit and finding one of them had stripped off completelyConfused) And sometimes we left for school with the baby wrapped up warm in the pram with night-time babygro still on (although clean nappy ). Would bath and dress baby once returned from school drop off. Boy, those days were busy.Smile
