36 week appt to check the lie of the baby (baby #3) in case an ELC would be needed. During scan, the bloody doctor told us the gender of the baby and we didn't want to know!!!!!!!!!! Xmas Shock Xmas Angry

You must at least point the error out to the doctor before they do it to someone else. Am surprised that any OB/GYN is this stupid.

Thank you, especially confuddled and ooooh (what if it hurts?!! - sure it'll just pop out of me this time!)

Yes, miffed, but you're right, some of the names I'd been considering have now gone out of the window. Still not telling our DDs or family/friends although there are lots of people gunning to know - and, as some of you have said, the doc may have been wrong?!

Chin up and all that. Not a lot I can do about knowing now.

I can see why close family may be interested but I can't imagine many other people care one way or the other whether you are having a boy or a girl. The only reason they are asking is that you now know and - bizarrely - are keeping it a secret (and most of us are curious when we sniff a secret).

BubbaAndBump · 23/12/2010 19:39

Why is it bizarre that I want to continue keeping it a secret???!

Its not bizarre at all, why should you tell anyone, it's none of their business.

I'd be really annoyed if people kept asking when they knew fine well you don't want to say - that's much more bizarre imo. Why do they think their nosiness is more important than your wishes.

move on,isnt worse thing to happen is it.
