It's my birthday tomo. Wanted to pop to shops alone (luxury!)to buy a new dress to wear for my meal out tonight.
But as I'm breastfeeding, I decided early this morning to forgoe the dress, incase I got stuck.
Have now decided to cancel meal as roads impassable
I'm hearing on news about gridlock all over London, car parks at bluewater, lakeside etc all jammed no one is going anywhere!
I feel smug for being home, warm, safe with my children!!!!

what a nasty post.. Not everyone chooses to go out in this weather... Some people need to. I got stuck and a friend at work had a head on car crash because of the snow.. We are community carers and have no choice but to try and get out WHAT EVER THE FORECAST IS..

Knowing there are people out there thinking I am an idiot and feeling all warm and fuzzy at our expence makes my job even more worth while .... thanks

bumps you are a lovely person for going out and doing your job in any weather. If the carer supposed to be looking after my mother had gone out to her she might have been enjoying christmas with us instead of us trying to chose her gravestone
