I love my dp but I dont really fancy him,he lets off wind all the time, never makes a effort with his apperance, works all the time ,and when he is home he moans.

I do love him though but just wandered is the norm after 18 years?.

Love him, adore him, would kill for him, but very often could be the one who kills him!
But no matter how pissed off I am with him he still has the most chewable shoulders ever ever ever.
And is sporting a very sexy grey at the temples thing too, swoon, and and and and ?cause he is on holiday is growing a goatee.

Happy happy Kitta

And he, after 16+ years still thinks I am sex on legs helps, and as much as I might bitch, the fact that he will buy me underwear (3 sizes too small, bless) still makes me smile.
And that I am not ?allowed? to kiss him just before he goes out ?cause it makes his knees feel funny.
He has a 2 minute warning kiss zone?.

How can you not love that?

He really doesn?t see me as fat (and I am, let?s be honest here) his comment when I have a ?moment? is that I?m a real woman, I know I know.

We have been through so much together, but he still gets me, and his bum is so yum!!!

10 years, yes. very, very much so.

StayingFatherChristmasGirl · 19/12/2010 13:02

I am afraid I don't fancy dh any more, but that is more to do with the effect that depression has had on my libido than on him. I will have to revisit this question when the therapy has worked and I am off the antidepressants.

It could be worse, though - I don't fancy him much, but I don't like myself at all.

Sn0wflake · 19/12/2010 13:07

I still fancy DH after 8 or so years together....there was always chemistry.

FooffysFestiveShmooffery · 19/12/2010 13:49

Kitta two pert choc muffins has made me very curious (not to mention bloody hungry) so I click on your profile and... nothing.

(Obviously not expecting a pic of the muffins themselves Grin but not even a peep at the holder of the muffins.

Sheesh what a let down.

FooffysFestiveShmooffery · 19/12/2010 13:53

and I had my hair cut from shoulder length to short on Friday and with the "Oh God what have I done" almost immediately after. He has spent two days making me feel beautiful and good about myself and for that I fancy him all the more. ( with his sparkly blue eyes, perfect teeth and dimples)

Georgimama · 19/12/2010 13:56

Yep, after 13 years he still does it for me. H smells so good (not after farting obviously) and whether it makes me a freak or not, I will say that the fact he is such a good father makes me desire him more. And also arms. And legs. He has developed a bit of a paunch (but then I have a muffin top) but otherwise very much the same physic as when he was 25. Except his face has got better looking now he's older.

How do men do that? So many men look better at 40 than 25. Not fair.

Georgimama · 19/12/2010 13:57

In fact DH just held my hand during lunch (at home) while DS prattled away in a lovely way to us. Bliss.

noddyholder · 19/12/2010 14:19

Yes after 20 yrs still fancy him but often too knackeed to do anything about it.poor marantha must be awful eating all those sour grapes

blackcurrants · 19/12/2010 15:11

Yes. Oh yes. Only 6 years in and only 1 dc - we're knackered with a 5 month old baby. but still find the time. God he's so gorgeous. Those eyes! That bum!

None of the physical attractions would work if he wasn't already my best friend, kind, funny, and an amazing parent to our son (even, or especially, when I can't take another moment of baby wailing) - but lucky, lucky me, he's gorgeous in lots of ways.

Objectively, we're both less attractive than when we met. Me more than him, alas (fat and greying) but ... oh I've never fancied him (and loved him) more. No one told me that having a baby with someone could make them so damn hot!

Am very, very, very lucky.

ledkrsbellyislikesantas · 19/12/2010 19:19

why do these sorts of threads turn out so competitive? Fine if you fancy your partner, fine if you don't, but no need to get all snarky about it.

I've been with my husband for ten years and I think I mostly do quite fancy him. Sometimes I don't, though. But I do love him, and wouldn't want to be without him.

fulltimeworkingmum · 19/12/2010 19:36

God, yes - I fancy him so much. Been together 7 years (itch coming up??) but he makes me weak at the knees.

Chatelaine · 19/12/2010 19:57

Think of the tune in Fiddler On The Roof "Do you love me? Answer - after 25 years....... I digress, to answer your question, as much as he fancies me which actually is not what you would call frequently if taken to the logical conclusion. But it's the same for me. We are both quite fit. It happens, we're happy enough if our desire coincides! We are long time married so maybe our circumstances are different. We do have a laugh as to who can fart the loudest and longest Grin. Come to think of it, that began on honeymoon, is that abnormal?

whoknowswhatthefutureholds · 19/12/2010 20:10

ummmm forearms..what is it about them? In fact I distinctly remember going off a bloke because he had unsexy forearms!
