dannyblanchflower · 17/12/2010 23:48

Sometimes - and sometimes I wish he would make more of an effort (but I know he could be thinking the same about me). 14 years together / married less than a year Xmas Hmm.

He still makes me go weak at the knees when I watch him talk to "our" children (aged 15 and 18)

christmasrocks · 17/12/2010 23:54

God yes, my stomach still does that wierd flip when he comes home in the eve, cam home worse for wear tonight after Christmas do and I still fancy him, no point tho as he snoring so badly Im going to sleep on the sofa tonight!!!! sorry 10yrs

christmasrocks · 17/12/2010 23:56

Sorry, meant to add for OP, my DH farts terribly all the time Smile, guess its love Grin

Blackletterday · 18/12/2010 00:00

I do fancy him, I don't reckon he fancies me though Sad.

Mowiol · 18/12/2010 00:02

27 years on and it's different but better ... we know each other so well. I have a "back and bum" thing!!
My DH at 50+ still has a good "back and bum" in jeans and t-shirt and it makes my stomach do the "wobble".

tingletangle · 18/12/2010 00:09

My DH make my heart flutter and I still fancy him. Infact I may fancy him even more as we have a shared history that intensfies the feeling.

MollysChambers · 18/12/2010 00:11

16 years. Still find myself think "phwoar" fairly regularly.

tiredfeet · 18/12/2010 00:12

Yep Grin

MollysChambers · 18/12/2010 00:17

Shock at the restraint shown by those who have been together for aeons and don't fart in front of each other.
No such decorum in our house, more's the pity.

nightmarebeforechristmas · 18/12/2010 00:19

yes
we have been together 27 years but he is still the man that makes my eyes light up

ReindeerBollocks · 18/12/2010 00:26

DP & I attended a party recently and when he came back from the bar I thought he was gorgeous (not just because of the drinks), and he also has a sexy 'court' voice which makes my tummy flip.

Compared to others we haven't been together that long but I hope to feel this way after many years of marriage.

usualsuspect · 18/12/2010 00:29

30 years later? I can't be arsed any more Grin

rockinhippy · 18/12/2010 00:34

Another cynical old bitch here too....& yes, 11 years, still fancy mine too.....when he's not whinging & farting of course Grin & he can be a scruff too at times, but he does scrub up well, so I do often find myself thinking "phwoar" but I think if anything its got better, as I have even more respect & love for him than I ever thought possible, far more than the day I married him, so thats been a surprise

better hide this, don't want him getting the wrong idea Grin

CheerfulYank · 18/12/2010 00:48

I think people who don't like forearms are odd! :)

I love DH. The other day I was having the worst day at work (I work at a school) and knew he'd be there picking up DS from pre-K. I excused myself for a minute when I knew he'd be there and just hugged him, and it was so comforting. Just to bury myself in his jacket and it felt so familiar and lovely and I just adored him so much.

We don't always get along because we're very very different, but we really love each other and the sex is beyond words. So...

yes. Also is anyone else being really nosey and looking at everyone's profile who posted on this thread to see if they have pics of their DPs? Or just me? :o

sheepgomeep · 18/12/2010 00:51

5 years for me too, i still fancy him loads actually much more than i did my ex after 5 yearss.

No I like forearms, wrists, nice strong hands too {melts}. I like necks and the bit where the neck meets the tee shirt or shirt .

My dp is a twat but i really really think he is gorgeous

MrsRhettButler · 18/12/2010 01:19

Yes. Together 25 years. Still feel like the cat who got the cream.

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 18/12/2010 09:42

I like a nice broad back and well built arms. Luckily my DH has both, plus he has the added bonus of not having the chicken legs some men have but good solid legs. Scrubs up VERY well.
I think my DH would give yours a run for the money in the t-shirt stakes LeQueen Smile

He is also 6'5" and the first time we snogged I thought ohh this must be what other girls feel like all small (I am 5'9") I still like feeling small in his arms.

Plus he makes me feel sexy and fanciable whether I am toned and fit me or fat and unfit me (currently post pregnancy 2 stone overweight) which makes me love him and fancy him even more.

Been together 9 years.

Been together 9 years.

SilveryMoon · 18/12/2010 09:45

Gosh, I don't really know. Sometimes. Me and dp have been together for 4 years and have 2 dc's.
I sometimes look at him and feel a real big attraction like in the early days, but most of the time, I don't really think about it.
How bad is that?
I love him deeply, he is my best friend and although he really annoys me at times, I can't picture my life without him.
We rarely have sex which I know really annoys him, and it's not that I don't want to, I just can't be bothered Blush, although I really wanted to yesterday, but he wanted a shower and I fell asleep on the sofa.

Sometimes, after 12 years together. If he's not being annoying. But then we now have a 7 week old baby resulting from IVF, so sex became 'functional' quite some time ago and hasn't yet moved back to 'recreational' status. Am sure it will happen ...

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 18/12/2010 09:57

LeQueen - second row but without the ears thank god....

surfandturf · 18/12/2010 09:58

I do - (he's got gorgeous blue eyes) we've been together 11 years.
