I can barely manage to get dressed in the morning, having to think about accessorising jewellery as well might tip me over the edge!

What of they want to wear jewellery but can't afford to own lots of different kinds? Obviously Floella Benjamin is different as I imagine she can afford to have more than one set of jewellery.

I think about what I'm wearing on my body everyday and do my best to look nice but I don't wear jewellery everyday!

I wear the same jewellery every day because of the meaning it holds for me, not because I can't be arsed to change it to suit my outfit.

Plus, it's lovely.

I don't wear any jewellery to work other than rings.

I accessorise with scarves (no I don't look like a twat from the Apprentice OP, don't start)

It's as much as I can do in the morning to get up and out the house without pissarsing around with necklaces.

I don't like large statement necklaces - they always seem to be worn by fat women who want to appear In-ter-est-ing.

The only jewellery I can remember Floella Benjamin weariing are earrings made out of polos.

I thought that was the height of chic when she wore those on play school (don't think my fashion mojo has improved much since then frankly)

My engagement ring and a pair of small diamond hoops dp bought me for the birth of Ds1.

I do wear fancy stuff when dressing up to go out but that's not very often anymore!

I (nearly) always wear the same plain neclace and ring. sentimental value. if I dress up I choose something that goes with the outfit.

You are a bit weird. Why does it bother you? I own precisely two pieces of jewellery. One is a locket which has been in my family since the late 1800s. One is a silver Tiffany's necklace which was a very special gift. I one of these two necklaces every day. I like wearing them. I didn't think that I might be inducing jewellery-rage in those around me. Oh, hang on a minute, I'm probably not. Why? Because they are NORMAL!

I think jewellery is boring. I never wear it and never notice it on other people.

YABU - I wear the same earrings day in day out. I will change to accessorise with an outfit if I'm going out. But they are FAB earings and go with everything (dangly not studs). Everyone comments on them all the time (strangers on the street ask me where I brought them) - wish I'd brought 20 pairs from that dusty shop in India.

That's pretty much the only jewellery I wear these days on a day to day basis, though sometimes I'll wear a necklace. I used to wear more but rings make me now itch & I don't like bracelets.

I think it is more annoying when people do not proof read a thread before sending it.

Some of us wear things everyday becuase they are meaningful, i wear my mums wedding ring to my dad on a necklace everyday.. i would like to see someone try to get it off me....
