It must be time for another "Who is the fish?" thread.

JamieLeeCurtis · 09/12/2010 13:21

Peppa - please tell me what sorts of jewellery are acceptable?

GetOrfMoiLand · 09/12/2010 13:22

Christ, it almost (not really) makes you nostalgic for days of yore, with moldies etc.

LisaD1 · 09/12/2010 13:22

YABU and a twat!

I wear my engagement and wedding rings every day together with a heart necklace and matching earrings, all given my DH - I love them and couldn't give a toss what some saddo with nothing better to worry about thinks about it!

gibbberish · 09/12/2010 13:24

Yanbu. I agree. Only because I am a floella benjamin. If I ever get around to actually putting a necklace on (a rare occurence) I then can't be bothered to take it off and wear it until it really clashes with something I am wearing and am forced to take it off.

I am an unimaginative sod and lazy with it. But really don't care enough to do anything about it.

Hullygully · 09/12/2010 13:27

Peppa, I agree.

That sort of thing makes me long for flourishes of stylistic vivaciousness. No one exercises derring-do in the adornment department any more.

scrappydappydoo · 09/12/2010 13:27

YABU - who actually cares?

SantasMadMissy · 09/12/2010 13:28

not read all the replys but to the OP
how about they only own that and are skint?

walkinginaWUKTERwonderland · 09/12/2010 13:31

I too long for flourishes of stylistic vivaciousness, Hully. Like in days of yore.

Acanthus · 09/12/2010 13:33

OP - you're not getting your usual degree of recognition here Grin Do you think people have forgotten you?

JamieLeeCurtis · 09/12/2010 13:33

I think we should start sporting a nice beauty spot.

warthog · 09/12/2010 13:34

i have better things to do with my time.

op - i think you need to get a life!

ItsJustMyOpinion · 09/12/2010 13:35

Might be showing my young age here, but who is Floella Benjmin?

I wear the same jewelery everyday, my engagement & wedding ring, and a locket with a photo of my dd from when she was a day old, al of which my dh gave me. Occasionally I might put on a different necklass when going out on a special ocasion, but that doesn't happen often.

SantarissaCripslock · 09/12/2010 13:36

I wear the same jewellery every day as it is special to me - I wear the same necklace and never take it off as my DS2 (stillborn) has the exact same one with him in his coffin and it is a connection to him. Similar with the bracelet I wear - has his name and D.O.B engraved into it.

So there.

GetOrfMoiLand · 09/12/2010 13:42

"I wear my engagement and wedding rings every day together with a heart necklace and matching earrings"

STRAIGHT into the OP's trap

MsFox · 09/12/2010 13:42

GetOrf - Do you accessorise with the Magic Scarf?

GetOrfMoiLand · 09/12/2010 13:43

Is the magic scarf that JML whatsit?

Don't be ridiculous, I pbtain my scarves from places like sainsburys Graham and Greene

JamieLeeCurtis · 09/12/2010 13:44

MsFox - that is bloody brilliant.

5DollarShake · 09/12/2010 13:45

I wear the same jewellery every day, and then change (some of) it, when going it.

Every single piece has sentimental value.

I am not going to get too worked up if a random off t'internet think I'm unimaginative. Xmas Grin

MsFox · 09/12/2010 13:45

Yes. Did you know it's "The coolest way to wrap up warm this Christmas".

MsFox · 09/12/2010 13:46

It can even be worn as a 'snood'.

JamieLeeCurtis · 09/12/2010 13:48

I shall buy one for when I am out and about in town in my strapless dress
