Erm, I don't know - coarse? And could someone please tell me (nicely?) what dragon butter is? Am definitely not prepared to google it! Grin

GrimmaTheNome · 25/11/2010 18:01

Oh I know - Private Message, I had one a couple of weeks ago.

But surely that only makes you a somebody if its been sent by a somebody, so how can you tell, esp when its an early festive namechanger? Confused

thefirstMrsDeVere · 25/11/2010 18:11

Who you think is MN royalty or whatever is highly subjective though.

I started a thread about swearing at babies and someone said 'you are only laughing because TFMDV started this, if it was anyone else you wouldnt'

I was astounded. Astounded I tell you.

And changed my name - so ner.

I agree if you are a prolific poster you are more likely to get your name recognised. Its pretty simple.

As for specialities mine is my DD is dead, so its not all fun is it?

Anyway FOUR WEEKS TILL CHRISTMAS YAY!!!!!!

softnstrong · 25/11/2010 18:14

I used to post here a lot and I was probably what some would call MN royalty Grin

I am enjoying not being as recognisable now. It allows one more freedom [royal wave]

Megglevache · 25/11/2010 18:18

I rather like being a nobody- in fact there is another MNetter with a name similar so mine and all of my embarrassing stories/stupid comments/RL cringeworthy events shared on here/etc are all attributed to her Grin

ShirleyKnot · 25/11/2010 18:21

Mrsdevere - I don't think of you that way, you're always lovely and that is how your name is defined for me.

I feel quite royal getting two mentions on this thread. I think I might be one of those horsey faced ones, 175th in line to the throne and a bit of a stain on the Royal Family Tree

softnstrong · 25/11/2010 18:22

Ah, Meggle Grin I recognise you, not a clue of the other MNer you mention.

thefirstMrsDeVere · 25/11/2010 18:25

Thank you Shirley Smile

I do talk about her a lot though and most of my threads are to do with her. People are always so nice but I assume that I am pretty much defined by her IYSWIM.

But its nice to know that I am lovely Grin

Megglevache · 25/11/2010 18:27

OOOh lovely well in that case I'll see your 175th in line to the throne and raise you.....some woman who once had her arse touched by Prince Charles in Annabelles in 1977. Grin

SoftnStrong hmmm who did you used to be?

softnstrong · 25/11/2010 18:37

Don't really want to say, sorry. I realise that's a bit annoying!

Megglevache · 25/11/2010 18:39

S'ok but I may have to throw a crispy sex towel at your head if you don't tell Grin

softnstrong · 25/11/2010 18:41

[ducks]

TheFeministParent · 25/11/2010 18:42

I recognise you Meggle, I have met you in a previous name!!

ShirleyKnot · 25/11/2010 19:09

Mrs Devere - What I meant was that I don't see your name and think "oh that's the poster whose beautiful daughter died" (I have looked at your pics many times BTW, and she really is beautiful)

I think...MrsDevere, oh that's Rebecca isn't it? Oh I should re-read that book, I love that, no, wait that's De Winter - Devere is like Bubbles Devere - BLOODY HELL.

And then I read your post and you're being supportive or funny or whatever.

Fucking hell, licky much licko? Sorry!

Bupcakesandcunting though - wharra bitch.

thefirstMrsDeVere · 25/11/2010 19:40

PMSL I was going to namechange because I was named after the book film but had a moment of madness one night and got it wrong (oh soooo wrong). It actually took me a couple of weeks before the penny dropped Blush

I am sort of fond of it now - call me bubbles darling, everybody does Grin

ShirleyKnot · 25/11/2010 19:44

HAHA!

You're joking? (So we are equally as mad then; I always feel so bloody educated reading your name "Oh, look, a reference to Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier, how very clever I AM AN IDIOT" nice to know that it's both of us)

honestly - HAHAHAHA Laughing my head off, kids looking at me like I've lost it..hahaha

Goblinchild · 25/11/2010 19:53

Well, I don't namechange. I have enough trouble remembering who I am at the best of times.
Speciality?
I'm one of Tethersend's groupies, trailing around MN hoping for a glimpse of my Goddess.
Or I'm being bolshie on a Teaching Fred.

Megglevache · 25/11/2010 19:54

No I liked buntingcupcakeo!

mumbar · 25/11/2010 20:04

Goblinchild I avtually like your comments on the teaching threads Grin

I love the posters whos comments make me stop and think.

I am a no-body on here and love that - I can think, say feel what I like without the hassle of RL involved.

bupcakesandcunting · 25/11/2010 20:10

cuntingcupcakes.

Want that for my new name forever but there are too many weaklings on here who faint like Victorian children when they see the CUNT WORD and we've run out of smelling salts, oy fink.

Chew on a brick Shirley, you bastard.

bupcakesandcunting · 25/11/2010 20:12

"I am a no-body on here and love that"

Good job.
