dissapointed

OP posts:

NO!!!!!

It was the dog LOVER who was getting all violent and the normal person who didn't want a dog licking her newborn's face was all nonplussed.

Which is unusual for her, cos she's a feisty one.

OMG I go away to pick the kids up from school (5 mins late cause I got engrossed in the Ed / Pinapple and cheese hedgehog thread - Was IBU) and come back to find dog shit and people being given one.

Did the nice poster take the ranty dog lover up on the offer?

GrimmaTheNome · 09/11/2010 15:48

You see, if everyone would just have dachshunds this would never happen because they can't reach to lick babies' faces.

Oh, ok! Still don't remember. Just goes to show how things can get so heated on here. If it was RL I'd definitely still be upset if I'd had such a fallout with a friend - but on here - in one ear and out the other, as my mum says. Grin

Both posters were "nice" I think it all just got a bit mad heated and the DOGLOVER (she got banned for it, but has come back fairly recently in a new guise) completely lost her mind. DOGHATER was needling at her a bit as well, if I rememeber rightly...

I think DOGLOVER and DOGHATER made friends again by the end of it - but whenever I see DOGHATER around I think "ooooo" and whenever I see DOGLOVER around I think "CAT me YOU CUNT"

Good times.

BaronessBomburst · 09/11/2010 15:53

Dogs smell. They smell of ....... dog....

MmeLindt · 09/11/2010 15:55

ROFL at CAT me you CUNT.

I seem to remember that one.

TheCoalitionNeedsYou · 09/11/2010 15:55

haha - I think "CAT me YOU CUNT" was a bit of a catchphrase when I first started posting here.

Shorthaired dachshunds hardly smell at all, honest.

ShirleyKnot · 09/11/2010 16:04

I changed my username to CatMeYouCunt for a while after that thread.

I was too scared to use it much to be honest.

JamieLeeCurtis · 09/11/2010 16:14

A spect the chavs settled it with a brindle-coloured Staffie dog fight.

And McQueen, those of us on a higher intellectual and moral plane have no concern with highlights

(and natural raven hair

ethelina · 09/11/2010 16:24

I see your dogs and raise you my cats.

[sprout emoticon]

JamieLeeCurtis · 09/11/2010 16:26

Nasty shitting shitters. Shitting in my garden (and that's my own cat).

Am going to invent a cat repellent and I shall call it : Puss-Off

ethelina · 09/11/2010 16:29

might repel more than just pussycats with that name.

ApocalypseCheese · 09/11/2010 16:35

Ooohhh, I dunno Loonies, your name is a bunfight waiting to happen Wink

JamieLeeCurtis · 09/11/2010 16:38

TooBlessed · 09/11/2010 16:43

hmm,2blessed2bstressed,,there is no way shirley had a fight with me coz i am chicken, rarely joins in when a bufight is going on,but will gladly watch from a distance,,and i have changed my name a bit so we won't be one and the same:o

MardyBra · 09/11/2010 16:46

Has anyone mentioned "Whose your favourite Mumsnetter?" threads.

I love the way they start off as a love-in and gradually get a little passive-aggressive as someone realises they have been left off. Then there is a some general attention seeking "what about me" posts, followed by a massive flounce or two and the start of a couple of "I don't care about the MN royalty cunts" thread. Always v amusing.

JamieLeeCurtis · 09/11/2010 16:48

Mardy - V true

TooBlessed · 09/11/2010 16:50

i love those mardy,i mentioned it today to a poster i like simply bcoz she is not mean, but i would never say anything on one of those threads, you can always get a nice hot bufight too.
