to think this is the worst name ever given to a child?!

Me & DH are thinking of baby names and I've just remembered a boy from my secondary school who was called Richard John Uren and got nicknamed Dick Toilet Piss, what where his parents thinking?!

My mum knew a couple whose surname was Wyllie. They chose the name Iona for their daughter, but luckily someone talked them out of it before they registered the birth.

My DH used to have a work contact called Gaye Cox.

I have also taught several children where the surname is the same as the first name, or only one or two letters different. Possibly a cultural thing as none of the children were of British origin.

I worked with a Richard Pullar. He tried (unsuccessfully) to get people to call him Rich.

I heard of an elderly lady called Andrewetta Dick.

As if Andrewetta wasn't a bad enough first name Hmm her poor parents had to lumber her with that surname.

Sadly for her she never married nor changed her surname.

We know Bea Sting and a Robert Sole (R SoleGrin).
I went to school with a Richard Holder who was always beeing teased.
DH went to school with someone with surname Bonner which was fine until they had an foreign substitute teach who pronounced it wrong!!! Poor guy has never lived it down.

I used to go to a nursery where there was a child (I think girl but not 100% sure of that) called Suet Wing Venus (first 3 names, cannot remember surname).
Outrageously unusual names is one thing but Suet?!
