Ocado again

Have just signed up to Ocados thing where you pay £3.99 a month a get unlimited deliveries. I though it was a good idea but now they've stopped sending me those nice emails with 15% off my next shop. I only ever got 1/2 deliveries a month and often got the £1.99 late night slots. Dammit, AIBU to think I have just shot muself in the foot financially? PLUS all this talk of free gifts... I can't remember the last time the buggers gave me a free gift! GRRR! Btw, usually spend about £140-£180 per shop if that's relevant.

YEs you have shot yourself in the foot - but at least you'll definately get a Christmas slot!

you could order less more frequently, just to get your money's worth? how about one item per day?

they've stopped my offer emails too.....and I haven't signed up for it. Think they have just changed policy in some way. Annoying though

I often have more than one delivery a week. One main one and a small one to top up on fresh stuff.

And in my last delivery was a tube of Pringles. Mmmmm.

I think they're stopping the 15% off vouchers, I only ordered when I"d got one. I think I'll change to Waitrose now as they have £0 delivery charge. To the OP, yes I think you probably have shot yourself in the foot, sorry! Sometimes I have thought about the ocado sign up thing but then I thought I would be hemmed in and wouldn't have any choice but to use them for the next year.

Oh and I thought the £0 delivery charges were just for the new store that has opened near us.... I thought it was to get customers in

The Cloudy Bay Sauvignan Blanc used to be one of the best New World Sauvignan Blancs. it's now massively increased its production so it is not quite so exclusive - but it, or even the chardonnay (which was more "middle of the range" quality wise) would be more than respectable as a freebie

When I first started doing online shopping with Ocado, I got a few free bottles of that Cloudy Bay stuff. Was quite nice.

We've never had a free tube of pringles!
